The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Can anybody really see Wenger wanting Balotelli in the squad? Too much of a prick for most managers, could you imagine Wenger standing for that sort of insolence and dissidence? Absurd rumour.

Wenger spending c.160-180k per week on wages for Balotelli.......its funnier than watching Phil Jagielka trying to defend in an England shirt !

It's a tough choice as 'Balotelli' and 'Mandžukić' both have 9 letters in their name so the marketing team at Arsene FC know the same amount of money can be made from shirt/name sales. I think it's more likely we will go for the Cameroon international striker 'Eric Choupo Moting' or the Iranian world cup striker 'Reza Ghoochannejhad'.........a great chance to bring in more cash!! :barscarf:

The guy is immature in the extreme - he's been pandered to by every club he's been to - including $hitty

Idon't want him at Arsenal because all he will do (on and off the pitch ) is cause problems with tantrums and .... :rubchin: ...Uhhhmm actually hold on...He would caus eloads of problems for Wenger & the owner/s - might even result in a mass turnaround by all the AKB penis suckers...so Okay Yup! Sign him up!

WE WANT BALOTELLI! :barscarf:

WE WANT BALOTELLI! :barscarf:

Although there's been some decent football played, I'm becoming very cynical (and therefore increasingly disillusioned) by the constant fouling and play acting (including by English players).

As my daughter requoted, football players spend 90 minutes pretending to be injured. Rugby players spend 80 minutes pretending not to be.

Not yet to my knowledge but as we know from Ivan the Insincere "the manager has significant funds available to strengthen the squad"
