Moderating is exactly that to monitor what people post (whether you agree with them or not) and decide if it is within the boundries of the forum's rules.nut flush gooner wrote:Yes but I didn't say anything ageist, at worst it was tongue in cheek yet you felt the need to send me a PM. Sorry thats not Moderating imo.flash gunner wrote:"out you" i did nothing of the sort mate. I quietly and in a friendly manner asked you to stop with any ageist comments via pm after i received a complaint. as far as im concerned no one else in this discussion even knew this took placenut flush gooner wrote:Well you are the person who in his capacity as a MOD felt the need to out me as someone who said something discriminatory against older people which I did not, whilst ignoring half of the other borderline stuff that has been said. I am not going to point any fingers because I wan't the debate to continue. It would take a seriously racist comment like that from Brightonxround whatever his name is to get me annoyed, and even then I would flag it up in forum not behind closed doors.flash gunner wrote:What a childish thing to saynut flush gooner wrote:
Well go crying to the mods like you usually do then. I am only telling the truth.![]()

Now youve brought it into the open forum i'll say it again as i did in the pm to you - If you see any racist or unacceptable behaviour please flag it and us mods can have a look and decide best course of action
There was no bannings or official warnings just a friendly chat to remind you that you may have been straying slightly outside the forum rules set by Mike, the owner of the Gooner fanzine. A complaint was made so it had to be looked into. Now please don't say about racist behaviour from other members unless you're happy to flag it up (anonymously if you prefer) and let someone deal with it
If you have any problems with my moderating then please contact Mike directly and see what he thinks of it
