The absolute lack of desire from many of our so called first team players is embarrassing, even when you are played out of position or in a difficult match you can show desire, strength and perseverance all these things were lacking across the team once again tonight.

Our players went into that match expecting to win easily and not have to play hard, whether that comes from the managers lack of respect to the opposition or from the players themselves is immaterial.

Ozil, Gibbs, Welbeck, BFG and Giroud should be dropped, i dont care if their replacements aren't as skillful as long as they can show heart and desire in important matches.

I'd honestly take Monreal over Gibbs, Paulista over BFG and TR7 over Ozil without a second thought right now.

I'd be willing to give Akpom a run over Giroud and Walcott cannot be any worse than Welbeck.

The only real difficulty is CDM, i'm not sure that replacing Francis with either Mikel or Capt Stupid would improve the team at all.

As for the coaching and management staff, seeing as they seem to do fuck all from the bench currently we could probably get some chimps from ZSL and pay them in bananas and get more out of them.....

WENGER OUT!!!

He was at the game.
The ticket sales and money spent on the food outlets , the ban on alcohol at UEFA games obviously had an effect on results... I presume they are the results you mean ?

No matter what happens, Wenger won't get the sack. Be it the 8-2 loss to MU or consistent failure in the CL. It's astonishing isn't it? It's as if the board are so scared of wielding the axe on him. It's as if without him in charge we would end up like Leeds United. I have never seen a big club keep sticking to such an incompetent manager like a superglue.

I read Wenger's post game statements saying the team were committing defensive suicide especially after it was 1-2...THEN WHY DON'T YOU GET OFF THE FUCKING BENCH, GET YOUR HANDS OUT OF YOUR POCKETS AND FUCKING COACH. YOU STUPID FUCKING C U N T. There isnt a quality manager in the world that would sit on the bench doing absolutely fucking nothing when his team has 9 guys in the offensive half of the pitch in the 93rd minute. Mourinho/Ancellotti/Pep would be screaming at his team to get back and stop being fucking dumb. ZERO tactical awareness from this team, which is all down to the manager and lack of coaching the team. Like Souness said, this team looks like 11 players all playing their own individual game without a true game plan. Speaks volumes of the fuckwit in charge.

“Even at 2-1 how can we with one minute to go just leave the whole half open? It is difficult to understand"

Maybe for you ya deluded has been inept bastard but I've lost fucking count how many times down through the years this exact same shit has happened. So d'ya know what you can do for yourself Arsene? You can fuck right off. I swear to fuck I will orgasm in my undies so fucking hard the day our club is rid of your shit stain "management"

This is Arsenal FC 2015, no ambition, no leadership and no hope..... Every year the same, every year the fans are fleeced. This is so sad.
Unfortunately mate thats just football nowadays - most of the premier league shows no ambition beyond survival and keeping the TV deals rolling in, arsenal are just one level up from that where theyre happy as long as the CL money is rolling in. Only the plaything clubs are ever any different and even then FFP has been introduced to stop any other clubs getting to compete at the top end. We might as well be watching a load of stocks and spread sheets running around the pitch, its hardly a sport any more

Out of interest. .. has anybody used their membership to log in to the Arsenal Player on the website and watch the youth team get knocked out of the FA Youth Cup at home to Crewe. It's a worse performance than last night (if that's possible). Pay particular attention to the Number 5. The future is pretty dim. Do let me know your thoughts if you can be bothered to watch it. (just 6 mins long). I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

having got my rants out of the way last night and to be honest I wasnt expecting much anyway lets look at this season in europe for Arsenal. (from the point of view of Kroenke and his sidekicks)

yet again it has been highly successful. we managed to come through a difficult qualifying match and then managed to navigate our way through the tough group stage. let us not forget that Liverpool did not make it out of their group.
we then managed to stage a highly successful category A last 16 match for our most loyal supporters who very generously spent an absolute fortune at the Emirates.
Arsene Wenger showed his absolute genius by realising that it will be hard to qualify for all this again next year and so managed to make sure that we are likely to get knocked out at this stage. This will enable the squad to be fresher in the all important run in to finish 4th again . Man management at its very best.

Why do people keep saying that ? :? We are not kroenke, we are not the board and nor are we an inept senile old French c.unt  We are fans who pay a hell of a lot of cash to put up with (and financially support) that garbage, and I don't care one jot whether those other pr.icks are happy with low targets  We should be pushing them to meet our targets and not allow them to drag us down to theirs  We should be letting them feel/hear our wrath after we suffer another shambles, and not have an air of resignation/acceptance engulf us :(

nothing ever happens though augie

if you go to the stadium the place just reeks of apathy
there was a protest march planned late last year if I remember but then it was stopped by the police for some reason (I imagine that the club intervened on that one)

the facts are these - Wenger hits his targets every year and every year the season ticket holders renew.
you even get a few brain dead red members paying £90 to watch the annual last 16 bumholing match
whilst all this continues nothing will change - Wenger is only in the first year of his contract
