THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

heard him say something hilarious on ssn this morning about giroud "he doesn't miss on purpose" fuck.ing. hell.

imagine cloughy or ferguson coming out with that, what a fucking loser he is these days  he's not missing on purpose, he wants to be good, he just can't do it, he hits the ball but the ball doesn't go where he wants it to go  boo hoo

next week it will be "ospina tried to stop the ball from going in the netty, but the ball was hit hard and it hurted his hands so he let it in" , he didn't want to let it in but it happened

"Merterstatue wanted to stop the ball but was worried about his tummy getting hit."
If Cloughie was in charge, most of these players and almost all of them over the last ten years wouldn't get anywhere near the pitch or they would have got hooked off after the first stupid mistake or pointless bit of fucking around on the edge of our own box. Soon they would have got the message or been told to fuck off. Wanker on the other hand just lets them do whatever they want without any fear of a bollocking or being dropped so it goes on and fucking on year after fucking year.

I don't know if this is true, but it most certainly must have crossed their minds. Imagine being a top class player, and being fed a pack of lies by Wanker about challenging for the title, and challenging in Europe, and then reality hits home that Wenger doesn't have a clue tactically, and the aim of the club is to finish 4th. Its ok for some of the losers we have at the club, who are happy to be just playing at this level, but for an actual competitor like Sanchez, it must be soul destroying. As for Ozil, im willing to bet he will leave, and be a huge success elsewhere, as Wenger hasn't got a clue how to get the best out of players.

Any link?
http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topi ... players-an

headline is " Balague tells Spanish press Arsenal is 'a graveyard for players' and it's Wenger's fault"
“What is worse is that it is becoming a graveyard for players and this summer, as usual, their best players will be seeking to leave.

“They are already 17 years in a row in Europe, and it seems they have not learned anything.”

He added: ‘Wenger will decide when to leave, and that is, above all, the big problem.’

:hail:

apparently alexis was expecting us to be in the CL semis or final this year - to actually challenge for the CL

by the way - anyone see our 6month financials out this morning ? - 138.8million quid cash balance. :banghead:

As sad as it may be but if Sanchez leaving is what it takes for us to finally rid ourselves of Wenger's parasitic presence then so be it. Sanchez would leave as one of our all time greats were that to happen.

The Romford Pele has a dig at our big players, but reading through you wonder if Parlour is aware we actually have a man pocketing £8m per season (plus bonuses) who trains these players and is ultimately responsible.
Another ex player who enjoys his club privileges who dares not to criticise the clueless messiah.
Yep, I guess we can expect nothing from ex players. All those words come to the effect, can do better, nothing else to see here.

Avoid the issue of the man who has overseen many poor defeats across a wide range of players.

Bob Wilson the same mate on Radio4 8.30 this morning " Arsene will leave when arsene wants to". Spent a while saying what a gentleman he is. I know Bobs been bought big time, but shocking how he gets wheeled out at these sort of times :banghead: :banghead:
The club do an awful lot to help Bob's charity - The Willow Foundation, set up in honour of his daughter, who sadly passed away at a young age. Bob is a real gentleman, Arsenal to the core, he likes Wenker as a person far too much to criticise his shortcomings as our manager. Frank McLintock has no such problem in calling it how it is.

I hope Fabregas has the courage to put loyalty aside and tell us the difference between being coached by Wenger, Pep and Mourinho after his career ends.

Hope Monreal replaces Gibbs for the Everton game. He might not be world class, but he has some idea of positional play and doesn't spend the entire game on the half way line when Bellerin is also forward. When's Debuchy fit? Months?

I love Bob. Wenger might be a gentleman (haven't met him) and a cultured, civilised man, but he's no longer a suitable manager for a club with any ambition.

The scary thing is this lot are already playing at their full potential.

They cannot help it -this is their best they can give.

They are already over achieving and we have too much expectations of them.

When is the parade, then?

A day that will forever live in our history: Febuary 26th, 2015 - increased cash reserves were recorded!

AFC = Arsenal Financial Corporation
