completely agree, we were luckywoolwichgooner wrote:If I EVER have to endure seeing Eboue start again I think I may cut myself. We won't get away with that against better opposition believe me. Even when we went a goal up I knew with that midfield we were going absolutely nowhere other than Nasri.
Either Ramsey or Vela have to start or even play 3 up front with Bendtner because it's becoming embarassing. Imagine going to old trafford and man u been on form, forget 4-0 fa cup last season we'd be in line for a 7-0
Terrible.

Eboue didnt play great today I grant you but I have to say that imo denilson was far far worse than him and as bad as he was I would rather have him in the team anyday ahead of the useless *word censored* that is song
I also am amazed that almunia's woeful kicking hasnt got a mention on this thread - most of his kicks went either straight up in the air or out over the sidelines

I listened to it on the radio. Why are their commentators so biased against the bigger clubs ? Arsenal score and it's a given; Hull score and you'd think it was the end of World War II. Every Hull attack after that accompanied by passionate "commentary" from some useless Irish plank.

I'm glad that's out of the way then. We looked pretty comfortable until Hull scored. I had a real bad feeling when it went in what with the last gasp wins for Man U, Chelsea and Villa pulling it off too. How much more bad luck could I have endured? The cross was going no-where, takes a deflection and turns into the only way Cousin scores. If we didn't go on to win I'd have been seriously fucked off. However the team seemed to drop for about 5-10 minutes after, almost like they were thinking the same thing as me. Not again!!! This did worry me. But ultimatly the class (RvP) shone through and Nasri's finish was so composed. Also Wenger seems to be getting it right with the subs, the last two games the changes he's made have turned one point into three. So rarely for me this year, the man gets a thumbs up.

views from another irish plank!
we could still get to 80 points this season.villa can't keep going the
way they are
nic showed he is a super sub, just doesnt do it when he starts
easy scapegoat targets mentioned by others
but teflon cilchy could have cost us another three to paraphrase
his song
we are slowly improving after a horrible november, which we seem to have nearly every year
we won 3-1 at a place we would have lost two months ago
roll on the rest of the season

Excellent performance, and Bendtner once again showing how important he is to the squad. And RVP back to his best....and some world class touches from Ade!
BUT......
1. BT Vision f@cked up (and not for the first time) which meant we had to listen to the 1st 20 mins on 5Live....Just got Setanta on to see RVP hit the post!
2. Clichy.... OMG. And to think I honestly thought he was better than Cashley. He really does need to stay behind on the training ground. But he was only the 2nd person to provide an assist to Hull's goal.
3. Eboue! What does he have on Wenger....? If he is as good as Arsene thinks he is then his confidence must be shot. So why not give him a spell in the reserves....or why not put him out on loan....? I know at least one of you said Denilson was worse? We'll I have to agree that Denilson was fairly annonymous, but most of the time I wish that's what we were saying about Eboue.....

Good win in the end. Score came close to reflecting our total dominance.
AND.........Bendtner was very good. Have to say, looked very direct and linked the play well.
RvP was terrific and Adeys flicks and touches were classy and he took his (soft-ish) goal well.
Eboue wasn't good but did try.
Big downer was Cliche. He's making lots of errors and is regularly costing us and nearly cost us again.
Another example of a player who thinks he's guarenteed a start and needs the application of the stick, rather than any further carrot.
