Not a film, but I borrowed Band Of Brothers (7 DVD Box Set) - I missed it when it was shown on tv.....
f****************ck ! it is BrillianT!...Sad, funny - stomach churning (literally)...But the best anti-war film/series - just like Saving Private Ryan is...
Highly Recommended

Just watched "
Sin Nombre" tonight - I kept seeing ads for it on the tube on recent trips to The Grove & have been meaning to check it out for a while. Excellent film, well worth a watch. Think
Crash meets
City of God meets
Slumdog Millionaire, all set in Mexico. It's subtitled but don't let that put you off. Interesting inter-woven storylines with some stunning cinematography & great acting.
Saw District 9 the other night & like others have said, it was very good. Thought it dragged a little towards the end but it's definitely one of the most unique & different films for a while. Need to catch Inglourious Basterds at some point in the next few days.

Amores Perros
