I hope not, if Bullard signs it will remind me of the last days of George Graham when he signed Helder, Kiwomya and Hartson :banghead:

Anyone know how reliable the sky Italis quotes from buffon are? I know he's had his issues with injuries over the last two seasons, but i'd love to see a keeper of his proven quality in the side; hopefully Juventus will throw Chiellini in to sweeten the deal

The saddest thing is that an opportunity like this one to have probably the finest keeper on this planet wont come along very often. Buffon is 32, and even if he didn't have a good season by his standards, he is far from finished!
I can't stop thinking how much good a player of his stature could do to our defence. Sometimes, when I look at our body language in defence, ou could easily see that no one trusts our current bunch of keepers. How many times have I seen Almunia shout on Gallas, Clichy or sagna, and how many times have I seen each one of them not giving a flying f*ck! I'm pretty sure Buffon comanding the penalty box would do us a world of good!
I would even go to add that in cicumstances like the game against Blackburn, regardless of wether there was a fault on Flapphand or not, if buffon was in his place and dare make the same mistake, the ref would've certainly allowed a free-kick....

Anyway... I should stop hurting myself because even though it looks so obvious to me that even at 20 + millions Buffon would be my priority for this summer, it 's certainl not Arsene's....

...... Sigh.....

Buffon as No.1 and Szecheneyeyeyeye as No.2 would suit me. We'ld actually have a chance of winning something.

Anyone fancy a 'Sign a Fucking Keeper' chant on sunday?

Would Wenger actually understand this chant with this word in it? :?

Pires and Henry solely for old times sake. Can't see either making an impact for us any more.

What about Altintop?
