Who cares about the results on the pitch, 56mil is 56mil.

Can we really blame team selection today? Is it wengers fault that our players decided to not play today? That starting 11 should have had no problem with west brom. Its about pride! Its about '71, '89, and '04. Where is the pride? These players dont seem to give a shit about what they're representing. Absolute discrace!
As I siad I think no one there believes we can win the League so who needs to worry about closing the gap to a single point then?ArsenalSooner wrote:Can we really blame team selection today? But seriously, we have too many players who are underskilled but overpaid and undermotivated, while our genuinely skilled players are underpaid and undermotvated.
The Board's naked pursuit of profit t all cost has paid off for them but failed the club whose custodiaship they have been trusted with almost completely. Sickening really.

Make no mistake full marks to West Brom for how they played and they deserved the result and points. But really if we had shown a hint of desire and motivation would their performance have been that good - or maybe that effective would be a better way to ask - really?Connolly55 wrote:Yankee_Gooner_Dandee wrote:But credit to WBA. They came to the Emirates, werent afraid, and played quality attacking football instead of rugby and long-ball.
Exactly. On a different day they could have won 4 or 5-2.

Although again - he has a Board that wants that from him. Whaen they encouraged him to spend he did and it showed in the results and the trophy cabinet.
There is no doubt that if the Board wanted him to spend more and actually were making more money available to him to Mr. Wenger would be spending it or have gotten the sack by now. Fool me once shame on you, foll me tiwce shame on me. Fool me five teimes and no one is being fooled . This is all "nudge-nudge, wink-wink, y'know what I mean"? And they mean record profits and share prices.
The song they should play at the Emirates is "Opportunites " from the Pet Shop Boys. Can he the voices in the Directors's Box booming "Lets make LOTS of money!"

Worst performance under Wenger?
Certainly up there for me. At least when we get spanked by good teams or beaten away, its a difficult fixture.
But WBA home? The easiest fixture of the season you would think. And not just beaten, battered.
And not robbed by the ref nor kicked once by WBA. Fair play to them.
