As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Fixed that paragraph for you n6gooner so that it bore more semblance to reality.

101% agreed but my point is that if you have a ref like that you still end up with unfair results. the solution is that arsene takes the lessons "on board" and dowd is demoted to league 2.......FOR GOOD!!
Refs/Officials are already on a good salary, they should be given bonuses if done well. All of them should have to face a press conference on the Monday to discuss any decisions, this wouldn't be too humilate them but so the clubs involved could discuss any issues to help with the consistancy.
I don't mind if the lineo said "If you look Rosicky did push their centre back so it was a penalty" but then there will easily be 500 fouls a game. They have to be made accountable for any decision made but when a footballer makes a mistake theyre either dropped or banned, most refs turn up next week with a clean slate.
