everyone seems to have a real different slant on this! My 2 bobs worth (probs not wanted) are:

1) I do really want to see something done, really I do!!! Some of you may know I'm not renewing this year because of the powderpuff performances in crunch matches again!! It really is doing my head in and I don't think we will win the league!!

2) Saying that, no-one categorically knows IF we will win the league. Yea we are in a brilliant position to do so, especially as we have not any games apart from the Championship, as we're royally fucked everything up as usual!!! Also, bar the keeper our injury list, with the news that Djourou could be fit in a fortnight (believe when I see it I know), is looking OK. Got 4 relatively winnable games, and should see the big boys (VP, Song, Fabs etc) back before a test (which yes we probs will crumble).

3) We don't know anything!! Let's be fair we do not know a thing about what is going on money wise in the club!!! We should, YES!! We have a right to know!! This isn't Hollywood, smoke and mirrors, it's a working mans football club for Christ's sake! It could be Wenger, it could be the board denying him funds, it could be that there are no funds available with he flats etc, it could be a whole loada reasons.

Look I am all for it, I really am. If it's the gaffer point blank refusing to spend whilst the board are saying 'Arsene, just ask and we'll give you the cash for anybody' (I personally really can't see this being the case) then he's gotta go. If it's the other way round then the board need to be told we're not gonna stand for it. I just don't want to see (and yes it's been said enough that this isn't an Arsene out thread, but to be fair some of the stuff I see said about him on here by some members is quite frankly disgusting. A c*nt for what he's done there, whenever you see people say this they should hang their heads, SERIOUSLY. Disgraceful!), I don't want to see him pushed out, when he may not be the bad influence, but the messenger! Also is this the best time to do this?? 10 games....think about that for a sec...10 games home and away, with weeks of rest in between which is what our boys from across the pond need! Can this help in any way?? I think probably not.

I move that we see what happens in the Prem, then ask the question as to what's happening whether we win it or not, as winning it, as great as it will be (and it would be fantastic) there still needs to be answers! At the moment though I'd rather see how we do and yes sit on the fence, but just see if we mess up again! Does everyone not think this is the sensible move, and then get this really rolling?? To be honest, I feel that whatever happens we are in a start of a decline, and the only man that can pull us out of it is Arsene! I want him to change his philosophies, not the manager to change though! Don't be naive the day he leaves will be a very sad day in the club!

Reasonable points. I don't agree with most of them but that's the joy of a forum! Can anyone that answers these points try and do so without the usual "Fuckcunttwatdeludedcuntfuck" stuff? Just for a change?

I agree to an extent - first off some of things that have been said are terrible and in my mind out-of-order and if in fact they are proven fully unjustifed by the actual origin of these policies it is only fair to make that known so that stops.

But the real issue is not Arsene Wneger or his feelings or his legacy, it is whether or not the policies ar actually reviewd and changed where needed, no matter who set them. A new manager will make minimum difference - certainly minimum for the better anyway - if his a brief of minimum investment in the team. If managerial change is needed to move forward so be it. But that cannot be change for change's sake. It cannot be where we go okay we've replaced the manager everything will be fine now, because if those policies do not change it won't be.

We cannot let this movement be conned out of pursuing its real goal, which we all agree is renewed investment in the football team to give it the very best and most genuine chance possible we can give it at Arsenal to compete to win the prizes it competes fot.

Good post and I agree.

However we are trying to sort this group out now ready for when we fail again. Don’t know about you but over the last 6 years I am used to us bottling it and messing up tail end of the season. Its all so predictable that I have taken it for granted that we are already out the league.

By planning this now it gives us time to set the foundations of the group. It hasn’t even started yet. See even if we cause a ripple that’s good enough.

If by the last home game we are 100% out the season and have dropped points due to defensive errors and mistakes by average players than that might anger the more placid laid back fan.

They might hear of this group and decide they want to be a part of it. Many of you are right about the Wenger out aspect and I agree. I have even taken down my anti wenger sig from my profile.
This is about lack of investment and the high ticket prices. I don’t think we should question anything else or it will look like a wenger witch hunt.

I think under those circumstances the group will get bigger. It will attract more people as I think EVERYONE wants to know where the money is going.

We want something back!

Apologies in advance for the stupidly long post , but there’s still quite a few things I’m unsure of re this whole thing…

It’s apparently not an anti-Wenger protest, but it’s clearly about a fundamental aspect of Wenger’s management. So if Wenger doesn’t spend the money in the way the protest wishes, what then? Wenger out? How can it be a case of essentially telling Wenger “do what we’re asking or we’ll (attempt to) make your position untenableâ€
