Cesc must quit for Barca

Gunners captain on holiday in Spain and happy to stay there

tagline from the gaurdian....................... they have had the same picture of him as the top story which they change slightly everyday - no quotes or evidence to back it up, i expect that crap from the red tops, sometimes i think the uk media hates us,

I think he has too much respect for the supporters and the club to try and force a transfer through. He knows full well he is under contract and that the ball is in Arsenals court whether they accept a transfer. I also get the impression that he does desperately wants to win something here as the captain of Arsenal Football Club. All we have had from the media is Cesc is on holiday here and made up rubbish about not returning to training. The only thing concrete we have was that interview earlier this month where he seemed to say he was happy to stay and the ball was in the clubs hands whether they accepted any bid or not.

On the other hand this saga is getting rather annoying and part of me does think that despite on his day being sheer class he is very injury prone for a 24 year old and our formation and team does rely and is built round him. Part of me thinks give Nasri what he wants and put him in Cescs position whilst investing in other areas of the team.

Superb example of of the base covering and possible goal post moving that goes on in the minds of the AKBs

If Cesc stays:

"I think he has too much respect for the supporters and the club to try and force a transfer through"

If Cesc goes:

"On the other hand this saga is getting rather annoying and part of me does think that despite on his day being sheer class he is very injury prone for a 24 year old"

Injury prone, what in sweet jesus's name on you on about?

Or

Respect for supporters, you obviously missed the tunnel love in at the Nou Camp

Grow a pair ffs Daybreak

For me, let the geezer go and have a proper career with a proper football club.

I am definitely not in the AKB Selsdon, I go every week and have been in many a tussle with supporters for expressing my views towards him in the North Bank and if you read on my other posts I have often said his time may be up. What he did in the tunnel at the Nou Camp was wrong yes and my respect for him has declined but he could quite easily come out and demand a move which he isn't doing. I think he does have a certain degree of respect for the club and yes he is injury prone, he rarely plays more than 3 games in a row without picking up another injury to his hamstring

As hard as is it to stomach, i happen to think that Fabregas will go on to become one of the best midfielders around at Barca. Playing with top players in that team will bring him on no end.
He may not get as much playing time at first but in the end he will become one of the first names on the team sheet.

And lets face it the only reason he wants to go is that he has obviously be promised the world by Wenger when it comes to bringing in top talent and winning trophies and at the end of the day he got neither.
If our manager had done what we all know he should've then we would be trophy winners by now and he probably wouldn't want to go.

He must be fed up with carrying this team and looking around and seeing the drivel playing alongside him.
Watch some of the games and see the frustration on his face. I think i'd feel eaxctly the same.

So Barcelona have bid 40m for Neymar, what a joke, the club better not buckle, pay up or shut up.

Really.........as far as cesc is concerned surely this is another insult, they seem to value everyone else highly, except him.

They value him more highly, but are trying to get this one on the cheap because they're holding some of the cards. With Neymar, they don't.

Some rubbish in the Mirror today stating that because Cesc isn’t in the clubs promotional photos for the new away kit, he’s off to Barcelona ASAP.

http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Ar ... 53504.html

*Sigh*

If they paid attention to his Twitter account, or any other actual sources they’d be fully aware that Cesc has been overseas on holiday. Making it impossible for him to be in London for a photoshoot.

More media bullshit.

Wasn't the photoshoot done before the end of the season?
