London 2012 OLYMPICS

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Doesn't the fact most of them haven't reached full adolescence yet bother you? :rubchin: Or is that the attraction? :rubchin:

I wouldn't quite say I'm apathetic towards it as the youngest ones are about 15 but there are plenty there who are (sufficiently) developed for it not to pose a problem. Given that we were never going to medal at beach volleyball I think we should have just put two models out there and at least been the fittest. :gus2:

Even though she is fifty and probably ridden more balls than Cinderella

What you think the swimmers are thinking when interviewed by Sharron Davies? I reckon she is still worth a punt.

And you can see better scraps between "women" in any pub car park on any given Friday night.

Behave I have a brown belt in this discipline and there is more to it than meets the eye.

It is the British Armed Forces standard Martial Art and when I was in the Royal Marines it was used consistently as a form of unarmed combat. Learning the moves is a very difficult process and to the untrained eye confusing, but don't knock an art that in fact a fantastic form of exercise.

Fair play, phenomenal performance for somebody not even considered a medal contender! Never looked like she believed she could win in the final though, the other girl was so pumped in comparison and Gibbons was never in the contest. Shouldn't take anything away from a great overall performance though.

Should really pick up tomorrow with more track cycling, Adlington in the 800m IM and the heptathlon beginning. The pressure on Ennis is immense, of all the 'poster boys/girls' the expectancy is probably greatest for her and if she fails to take gold the disappointment will be highest.
