Yes, but there are some restrictions:
- it's only valid for the train on the match day (and into the night right after the match until 3 am.), not if your flight to Cologne is on monday and the continuing journey to Düsseldorf/Gelsenkirchen also then...

- you can use 'Nahverkehr VRR service' only: tube, busses, tram and regional Deutsche Bahn trains such as S, RE, RB (S-Bahn, Regional Express, Regional Bahn - 2nd. class only) but NO InterCity, EuroCity, ICE or such.

So if you only use the Nahverkehr service on matchday, you just need to buy a ticket from Cologne airport to the station on the 'border' between VRS (Cologne Nahverkehr) and VRR (Rhein-Ruhr-Verkehr) which is 'Langenfeld/Rheinland'. After that your match ticket is valid for the travel.

Enough time on the stopover in Cologne to buy some Kolsch for the journey to Gelsenkerchen too! I presume they don't sell it in Dusseldorf?

Any tips for where to go after the match in Dusseldorf baring in mind it's a Tuesday night? I've never been.

Hope we lose all 6 games and hit the arseholes in the pocket where it really hurts  If that financial hit results in sacking wenger or cutting his wages then so much the better cos getting massive wages to produce also rans is a disgrace  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

The Pravda bus is actually not bad, £89 including match ticket. When you consider the match ticket will probably be £40, quite possibly more, it's pretty decent. I just don't really fancy sitting on there for 8-10 hours with no alcohol

I went ahead and booked up for Montpellier, told myself i would wait until ticket info was released.

Can't see it making reds plus i reckon they'll do a Villarreal/Marseille and sting us a ridiculous price for tickets.
