Spuds game

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

the pressure of keeping an unbeaten home record v them has died so that should relax our players

Really hope we win tomorrow, I'm going to say 3-1. I'm slightly nervous, but I will be getting smashed early so hopefully my anxiety will dissapear! :barscarf:

Giroud Sagna Walcott and arteta are all doubts, I hope they play

Giroud to score 2moro if he's fit! :barscarf:

Been ignoring this game, feel sick thinking about it! This could make or break our season and its only November!

Had a ticket in my basket earlier, but even tho it was the 'cheapest' ticket on sale, with the train and beers its a 150 quid day out!

I put my sensible hat on and as a result am not going, being out of work for 2 months has made me realise the value of money.

I hope I'm regretting this decision tommorrow

Was at the game two seasons ago when we were 2 up at half time only to completely balls it up and end up losing 3-2  I don't think I have ever been as angry after a match as I was that day and I swore I wouldn't go to one of these games again yet here I am again tomorrow
I still vividly remember the cup semi v the scum at old shatford (sol's last nld for them) and without question it was one of the best highs as a Gooner - my first nld, the wife's first nld and the whole "hotel absolutely wrecked" story by an almighty fracas between rival fans the night before all combined to make it an unbelievable weekend :barscarf:

Oddly enough, I'll never forget that game either.

I had my match ticket sorted and was then due to go to Manchester airport to catch a flight to Belgium.

Anyway, the night before the game I went out with some mates and left my passport, Belgian francs and match ticket on the bedside table ready for the next morning. However, when I arrived home and opened the front door, I saw that the house was a tip, the back door was wide open and a locked bedroom door (my housemates) had been kicked off it's hinges  now, I'm no detective, but I soon realised something was wrong :rubchin: - then it hit me... we'd been burgled! They'd ransacked my room, taking my computer, hi-fi, CD's, etc. but amazingly, hadn't spotted the nice pile of thief-friendly-goodies on my bedside table :barscarf: so, a little shaken, I was able to call the police, tidy and secure the house, then get off to Old Trafford and then Antwerp :barscarf:

Just glad that the fat, useless,RvP loving, Brazilian tosspot won't be there to make Lennon look like Messi.

Not long till January 1st when hopefully the disgusting lardarsed wanker will be shipped out to some poor undeserving souls
