And then Liverpool learn its Everton in the next round before the game even kicks off! As if they needed any more incentive!

Let's just hope Sanogo delivers

Giroud is on the bench, if you classify him as a striker

Only just finding out about the shit storm surrounding Giroud. Apologies.
What shit storm, my fucking drank was blocked so literally seen a lot of shit the last 2 hours, thought I did well though, only gagged about 20 times

The analyst are RIPPING Arsene' on the pregame show, here in the states. :D

just showed the quotes from Mourinho too

"He is a specialist in failure, I am not.

"If he is right and I have a fear of failure it is because I don't fail many times. So maybe he is right?

"The reality is he's a specialist because eight years without a piece of silverware, that is failure. If I did that in Chelsea I would leave London and not come back."

could the heat be turning up on the ol chap? :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

northbank123 wrote:The biggest game of our season imo. By a long way. Absolutely fantastic chance to knock out a team who pose far more of a threat away from home or at a neutral venue. If we get through look at the teams who'll be joining us in the quarters, not only our best chance of a trophy in a while but a great chance for the fans to get a trip or two to Wembley.

This game will be decided by our mentality. If we pick a strong side and go out with a positive manner, we are more than capable of rolling over their overly-attacking line-up like we did without too much effort back in November or whenever. They have dangerous players going forward in Coutinho, Suarez and Sturridge but nothing in the 8 players behind them worries me, and if we dictate the game like we are more than capable of then we are capable of near-nullifying their threat.

If we rest the wrong players, approach the game with the mentality we did against United worrying far too much about losing and start poorly we'll lose. Liverpool's confidence is understandably high and as much as the delusion emanating from that club drives me insane, to their credit they go into every game believing they can win it regardless of who or where they're playing.

Enough is enough - he deliberately weakens the team, handing the advantage to opponents who have recently spanked us :banghead: :banghead: OMFG

FROWN - FUCK RIGHT OFF WENKER NOW.

Its Up 4 Grabs Now wrote:I actually feel for Sanogo a bit. Could well be totally unfair on the kid to throw him in today. If it all starts going tits up again there's every chance he'll get singled out and bear the brunt of the frustration towards Wenger by proxy, as the most obvious example of playing a weakened team and underlining the lack of signings in January etc. However shite he's looked in the few minutes he's played so far he doesn't deserve that. Hung out to dry like a Saddam Hussein body double.

Obviously if he scores I reserve the right to say I knew it was a great choice all along. :barscarf:

I actually feel that playing flaps is the biggest indicator of a weakened side - you could, with some justification, argue that giroud is overdue a rest but resting a keeper.....?? :banghead:

Unlike most of you, I would have played jenks today but would have moved sagna inside

I don't fucking believe that team. I give up.

We are going to get destroyed and that useless c#nt will stand there afterwards saying things like "but I had to rest players".
Yes but only because you are too fucking tight and useless to strengthen in the transfer window!!!!!

Fuck off right now you twat!

Classless bindippers hijacking a minute's silence for a football gentlemen with their own banner. If anyone dared to do that to their public displays of sorrow, they'd be outrage.

given monreal's weakness against pace, that early booking could be troublesome as the game goes on

Corners from the left hand side should surely be taken by a right footer (arteta) yeah ? If we trying the near post flick on then a left footer doesn't work from that side imo
