Leicester (A)
Re: Leicester (A)
Apart from a 5-10 minute stretch in that half, the play has been too slow. Far too often we've allowed Leicester all the time they need to get everyone back behind the ball. Once they've done that, we're always likely to struggle. What isn't helping is that Cazorla and Ramsey's passing in the middle of the park has been unusually crap.
Sanogo? Well, what can you say? It's admirable that Wenger is willing to support his players. But there has to come a point where you say enough is enough. Maybe he'll benefit from a loan spell elsewhere, but I don't think so. I just don't think he's a talented footballer. Simple as that.
His first touch resembles that of a brick wall. He's willing to have a dig which is good, but it's never measured. It's always just a random swing of a leg. I honestly think that having Sanogo upfront is like having a centre half up there.
I've noticed that we look more dangerous with Özil on the right and Sanchez on the left. If anyone read the interview with Mesut in the week, he said that if he's not playing number 10, his next best position is on the right because he likes to cut in on his left. He is completely wasted on the left wing.
So, Sanogo's no good. Özil is wasted on the wing. Ramsey and Cazorla look particularly lazy on the ball. It all sounds very familiar. We'll start playing with urgency around the 80th minute. Unfortunately we can't always score in the last minute.
Oh what I'd give for a team that plays like Rodgers' Liverpool side - high pressure all game.

There's one thing and one thing only holding this team back - the muppet in the dugout.

Well I cannot stay positive about a player being given game time... while 100% better players sit and fester on our bench.Gunner Rob wrote:I am trying to stay positive regarding Sanogo but he is a bit er limited so it's difficult....
Sanchez looks better and better!!

Re: Leicester (A)
Someone let me know if Ozil decides to take part
Re: Leicester (A)
Wonga treats Arsenal's money like his own and uses the playing squad to try out his own personal little experiments.
He permanently wants to be given kudos for 'finding' great players rather than buying them. He is not fit to manage a top level club with his mindset.

At the end of the day he is our first choice striker so everyone is going to have to start supporting him.Brady's left peg wrote:Well I cannot stay positive about a player being given game time... while 100% better players sit and fester on our bench.Gunner Rob wrote:I am trying to stay positive regarding Sanogo but he is a bit er limited so it's difficult....

So he has no bother taking off the Chilean Sanchez after 45 mins last week but leave on the French giraffe this week. Fucking cretin.

Re: Leicester (A)
Chambers might be a good prospect, but we need another good centreback. Chambers shouldn't be 3rd choice.
He is good for at least an error a game.

We've had months and months to wrap up Remy, if we had the inclination to do so. We were never interested in him and our strikeforce is already in situ.
