No. No, they didn't.

Nor did they even bother to lube up, and there are unconfirmed reports that Jimmy Anderson was called a bitch whilst taking it hard.

Disgraceful behaviour from the colonial commoners.

Very good day for the Aussies. Genuine pace and agression got them on top at the end.

Cook still looks in good nick but the top order needs some work.

Should be good stuff tomorrow. 8)

Morning everyone.

Morning Offers - how are you doing?

Other than Cook, England don't have the guys to just hang around. They'll still be playing their shots and the aussies will fancy their chances.

Not well, Arse. :puke:

I’ve had a shitting migraine since last night so I’m listening in bed; feel appalling.

Losing Stokes was a massive blow, the best England can do is try to avoid the follow on. It looks like we’ll go to Edgbaston all square, which will keep the series alive, where we should get a result.

Back to bed for me, see you all later. :barscarf:

Hope you feel better soon.

England 312 all out. Aussies out to bat again after electing against enforcing the follow on. Definitely the trend, what with very attacking batsmen and the chance to rest the quicks.

I should think they'll bat till tomorrow afternoon and then have a good go at the England batsmen for a couple of hours.

Unless England can bowl the aussies out for 100, then the game should be wrapped up by close of business tomorrow.

Broad needs to see a psychologist - not saying I wouldn't have any fear facing Mitchell Johnson but he is embarrassing himself. He is a very useful batsman for a number 9 so seeing him step back across his stumps and aimlessly wafting a bat nowhere near the ball is disheartening. Unless he deals with this fear he is going to be getting worse and worse.

England could bowl out Australia for 0 and I'd still make Aussies favourite here

I can't see us getting out of this one without defeat. They'll have five sessions at us and probably need three.

Sadly a competent lower order batsman has lost it after that blow. It's not down to phsychology, it pure raw guts imo.

Australia resume their slow torture of England looking to add some quick runs and take their lead past 500+.

Chris Rogers has been sick on the field and doesn’t look good; he’s going to be replaced by Smith.

Aus 114 – 0.
