Love The Coq. Can't be long now till he's called up by the France national team.

He can't be made captain until he's threatened to leave or no longer able to claim a first team placeLeftfootlegendGooner wrote:Anyone ?1989 wrote:Erm....Cheers mate?northbank123 wrote:Haven't been on here much recently but if you keep posting I'll have to come back more!1989 wrote:Seriously in love with this man. He is quality; we've been missing a player of his ilk for years - look at the difference a genuine DM makes Arsene!

Re: Coquelin signed?
I'm not sure about France calling him up, let's remember they left Koscielny on the bench whilst Sakho lumbered around and Hummels held off Varane at arms length to knock them out at the World Cup1989 wrote:Erm....Cheers mate?northbank123 wrote:Haven't been on here much recently but if you keep posting I'll have to come back more!1989 wrote:Seriously in love with this man. Coquelin
I've been reading everywhere that Coq is out for a month. That is a disaster if its true. Wenger hasn't confirmed the length of time he'll be out, just saying he won't feature against Tottnum. We'll see him just before Christmas 2016 if his other predictions are anything to go by.

Re: Coquelin
Dreadful news if true but bound to happen. Hope Wenker is made to squirm with the interrogation of his transfer policy and neglect of the squad
Re: Coquelin
"Two maybe three weeks away" - in the same way Wilshere, Vermaelen, Rosicknote, Welbeck and Arteta have had runs of "being two maybe three weeks away" for six months at a time
Re: Coquelin
This is what happens when you don't spend in the transfer window, you end up relying on Arteta and Flamini
Imagine when we face Bayern and Arteta is our DM, it will be a cricket score.

Re: Coquelin
On the slomow yesterday it looked like he twisted his knee when landing from a jump/challenge and not from a knock or tackle - which probably means anterior damage to the knee ligaments - the ones that support the upper and lower leg at the knee when flexing and straightening (and help to keep the kneecap in place)

Even so, hats off to him he tried to play on - But you could tell he had no push or burst of speed in the 2nd half.

When anyone says 'ligament damage' I think they'll be out for months.

Re: Coquelin
Yeah me too - especially with our medical teams record - When the knee goes over like that - beyond its normal range combined with the sudden impact of the body's weight - they overstretch and either bruise - the sign of internal bleeding or they tear. Either way Not Good.

Re: Coquelin
best thing to happen so far this season,Wenker will be shown up for the muppet he is by not buying a DM in the summer, there wont be anywhere for the Krunt to hide once our season unravels as Arteta and Flamini pussy foot about as cover for our half baked DM messiah that is Coq,cant wait
