Manure at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm the most critical person on here and even I think that was an outstanding opening 25 minutes. Pace, aggression, intent. The 2nd Ozil goal summed it up, that kinda football beats 90% of teams anywhere.

Doesn't matter who we play, once we get a 2 goal lead we sit back and let them come at us. Go AT them, the best form of defence is attack.

Agreed. Its been great to watch.

But like the Man City away win last season, what we have seen actually shows why Wenger needs to go far more than why he is still the right man for the job.

The attitude and approach today is exactly what was required but we need a manager who will ensure that is the case on a regular basis ... not just when the self-preservation instinct kicks in.

Im sure in the long term this will be one of those games we refer back to in the future but it wont be the start of anything.

Might as well enjoy it while it lasts though :barscarf:

Rooney is looking more and more like a fat Sunday league pub player.

Ramsey just lost the ball up their half and brought on an attack, he really does need to get his confidence back.

Why do we keep dribbling it out of defence and losing it?
