FC BAYERN AWAY

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It was always going to be down to other results to see us to the next round. We could still do it, but after watching us against Bayern and knowing that Wenger will sit on his hands in January means an early exit.

As far as Europa is concerned, I really don't understand why people think that we could win it. I can't see it there either. Wenger will get beat by a team like Sevilla or a Porto because he just doesn't have it in Europe.

1-1 would be a great result for us :?
I meant between the other two in our group. (Think you knew that :) ) Should have quoted the post.

Olimpiacos have equalised, we're bang in trouble now. Back to the good old days of the UEFA Cup for us.

UEFA will investigate us for corruption if we contrive to lose to Dinamo at home. Maybe if Mamic throws enough brown envelopes our way.

I know what u meant. That would be a great result for us. We win our last two we be on 9 points. They be both on 7 meaning that one of them would have to beat Bayern for us not to go through.

You sure? I haven't added up all the permutations.

Why are people talking about the probability of us winning at Olimpiacos when we've played there 3 times and lost 3 times.

Ok two of them were with skeleton teams when we were either already through in 1st or 2nd, but the whole "Matchday 6 away at Olimpiacos" gag thing is a joke for a reason.
