Sunderland FA cup Sat 9th 1500

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Decent result by a team without too many stars on the day. 'Scum' at home in the fourth round PLEASE !. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Great work rate again from the hirsute Frenchman, chasing down lost causes all the time.
Come on mate that's lazy WUMming, particularly given that you obviously didn't watch the game based on your posted on the Ox thread

To be fair his work rate is normally very good, it's his demeanour with all the moaning and sulking etc which people take exception to.

Another largely anonymous game from him today although to be fair our shape was all over the shop with 4 wingers playing and did bag a goal. Meanwhile Agueros fine solo effort today is well worth checking out...
Not WUM'ing at all though, i genuinely believe it.

Giroud has no pace and runs like a proper chunky bastard, but he's always chasing down the play. And he definitely gets called lazy a lot by people, which is frustrating. Same as when Ozil gets called lazy and then you find out he runs 10.5km in a game, the highest out of our team and even higher than the midfield pair.

If Giroud sulks a bit on the pitch I don't particularly care, his enthusiasm is there for all to say when he's making the runs (usually) and putting himself about to win knockdowns and 2nd balls, pretty much the only player out there wearing red and white with the ability to do this.

Are you mad?!

With a chance of the PL we need Carlisle at home, not a fixture to have nightmares about.

Carlisle or Yeovil to be exact, would prefer the latter :D

When is the draw for the next round?
To answer my own question, the draw is tomorrow night at 7pm. Hopefully the draw will be made by the Everton Cat :D

Isn't talking to yourself one of the signs of madness ?

Ah, good thanks, I thought so.
