I think old slippy gave the British public exactly what they wanted. Bin dippers won't win the league. Agree with you 100% Sid - citeeh are on a different level talent wise, but at the same time they are very much underperforming at the mo, plus in Europe they have consistently shown a lack of bottle when the pressure comes on them. Growing up an Gooner has instilled a defensive priority mindset, and I always swear by the nfl saying that "defences win championships" - in the last decade we have witnessed many good wenker attacking teams coming undone because shambolic defensive set-up/performances, and this could turn out to be the case with citeeh. The victims have a scary front 3 and have now backed that up with a top class van dijk, a top class keeper, and the best left full in the division, and on a day that their forward line isn't on form, they will remain confident that they can keep a clean sheet defensively
