As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
This is all on Arteta, he wants to play this slow slow, possession/control based game. He says it in press conferences. Arsenal will struggle to win any game playing this way.
Looks like we won’t be seeing Odegaard for the 2nd half. Almost no creativity with him in the side, but there’ll be less than none with him gone. Jorginho and Merino .

And so fucking boring to watch too, honestly.
We half joke about being like Stoke but it honestly feels true now. Pray for a corner and all the play in between set pieces as tedious as fuck
Diving and then throwing a boot, then pulling the ref on the arm. Three bookings. As far as I can remember from Petit all those years ago, you "can't put your hands on the ref".

Teams have worked it all out and you just need to either flood your own box when we have possession out wide or stick men in the middle to break up play. We have no creativity, no pace and rely on set pieces or one great ball. Even then, we fuck up the finishing. We're right back to where we were in 2008-18, decent players rather than great, poor management and lacking players in the right positions. Actually, thinking about that, we seem to refuse to get the players for the positions we need. It's not fucking good enough.
All the possession and no goal to show for it is fairly standard, the only surprise is that we haven’t conceded from the only time they crossed the half way line.

Had it been one of ours he would be in the bath
Like when the granny stagger used to call refs cûnts and barge into them, it's all a laugh when that team do it.
I'm hoping we get some sort of miracle in the 2nd half but this is exactly where we are at, just nothing creative in midfield and zero control or movement up front, an absolute horror show again
