January Transfer Window - Who are we linked with??

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I reckon that Blaise Matiudi from St Etienne could do a good job for us. strong, not afraid to tackle and good going forward and reckon won't cost alot of money.

I am worried that wenger will see it that way instead of seeing the possibilty of seriously upgrading the keepers position for an absolute bargain fee

Mmmmm....can't deny he's a great keeper but, at £8m, is he a bargain?

Ok spuddy maybe bargain is a slight exageration but generally speaking when a player moves from 1 english league club to another english league club then you see a vastly over-inflated transfer fee and that wouldnt apply here imo 8) That of course and my absolute desperation to see avaerage and shite players like almunia, song, bedtner etc makes it a great deal in my eyes :barscarf:

Hate to be a 'Glass Half Full', but will be very suprised if we buy any form of established player. But this is one occasion i would be more than happy to eat my words on this one  . Well fingers crossed for another transfer window of agony :?
