'A different type of striker'

You mean the one who isn't a striker?? Wenger loves playing people out of position, I don't know what it proves other than the fact that Wenger himself is an idiot, a completely deranged, senile idiot who needs to be put out to grass NOW!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Even until recently I always defended this man from character assassination despite not supporting him as manager any more, but you can't defend the indefensible. He's nothing more than a fraud and is willingly dragging the club down.

Wenger has done the seemingly impossible.

He is ruining Cazorla (today he looked like a poor mans Holman), playing Podolski in left midfield and wasting Mikel's attacking potential. Cazorla's starting to look get that Arshavin jadedness about him.

I wonder if Cazorla is Arshavin all over again? Mismanaged and isolated...

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said he did not have to justify his decisions after Gunners fans chanted "you don't know what you're doing" against Aston Villa.
The chant started when Wenger replaced Olivier Giroud with Francis Coquelin with two minutes left of the 0-0 draw.
"What is the thinking behind the substitution? I will not explain every decision I make," Wenger said.
erm, yes you should Arsene.

we pay your fucking wages and we were here before you and we will be here after you. long after you.

GG used to get a chorus of "georgie georgie sort em out" at half time, and he often did. but AW is pulling up the shutters.

a bad result on wednesday and he's lost the crowd i reckon. and once you've lost the crowd you're done imho.

i really thought (and I wanted him to ) he'd turn it round, but as someone said above - you can't defend the indefensible'.

Every time I hear/read post-match comments from Wenger now I just imagine he repeatedly says "go fuck yourself" in response to every single question.

He long ago gave up any pretences to giving a toss what the punter's think. As long as he's making coin for the board it's all gravy. I really wish he would just resign but I suppsose he can offer several million others as to why he shouldn't.

Wow. The longer that went on, the more Wenger seemed to be losing the plot :? - seriously, he comes across as a complete arsehole   and perhaps worse than that, he looked a fool as his answers, by the end, were just pathetic and childish

Two observations on that.....

Firstly, when challenged with a very reasonable question that puts him on the spot, he goes defensive (sic) and throws in the 'I've been managing for 30 years.....' comments, he's done it several times before.

More importantly, body language, he looks down after several of his answers and that is a blatant sign of lying.

I've said if before and I'll say it again... but If Wenger hasn't got alzheimer's, which is the word he used to the journo's at the end of his post match conference, then he must be doing this on purpose, I can't think of any other reason why he does (or doesn't do) the things he does, the lack of strenghening key areas of the team, the inane substitutions, the shit purchases (to name but a few things) I reckon he wants to be sacked and has totally lucked out over the last few seasons in achieving the clubs main goal.

I'm totally with Rodder's here in that he's very being at our club is making me completely sick.

Wenger losing the support of the away fans was always going to be the start , I thought Wenger had managed to ride out the current storm after the win against the spuds but that was short-lived . He needs a win at Everton or it will really be the beginning of the end !

He (and we) need(s) four international standard players (GK, LB, DM, CF) for the squad and the perspective to appoint a vociferous, talented, independent young coach as both a public and internal foil.

Please let this be the beginning of the end for this loathsome man. He is the most disrespectful manager in world football, his contempt for the fans is there for all to see, his lack of repect for his fellow managers has made hin an outcast.
Only his pathetic disciples will mourn his departure, I personally will celebrate it like a title win.
