Now I'm watching the TV series which is also good.
Coen Brothers have made some cracking films.

Fargo, The Big Lebowski and No Country for Old Men were fantastic movies 8) I also liked O Brother, Where art thou? but it's probably not for everyone.

Yeah thought George Clooney really showed his skills as an actor in that excellent movie as was No country etc

Spectre- For or against?

I really enjoyed it- usual Bond stuff, but the good vs bad theme was a little more thought provoking (And possibly true  ) than usual Bond which gave it an edge. Craigs gotta be the best James Bond BTW

Some of the stunts were pretty thrilling and the driver of the Fiat got what many of us would like to do to slow drivers :barscarf:

I can't stand Craig as Bond, so for me the Bond series has been on a break since 2002.

Dalton was criminally unappreciated and underrated, IMO.

Saw the Martian at th e weekend - enjoyed it for what it was but thought Sean Bean' s Yorkshire accent was out of place among the NASA executives and made his character was very incongruous (big word !)

Amazing what you can do with some plastic sheeting and sticky tape. So Matt Damon has a big future on Blue Peter if his film career goes wrong ( He s a big Gooner, so wish him well )

Bridge of Spies - top drawer from Spielberg and Hanks. Very intelligent film making with humour, suspense, and action. Well recommended.

The Force Awakens! Amazing!

Basically a newer polished episode 4 but its exactly what I think most fans were hoping for, and that's a return the world we all fell in love with when we were kids.

9/10

Watched in the Heart of the Sea at the weekend - story of Moby Dick.

Very enjoyable, with some excellent camera work.

You have to marvel at the bravery of the whalers all those years ago, wouldn't catch me in a little boat like that.

Saw the Reverent last night, with Leonardo DiCaprio ( who I'm not a massive of) but did enjoy the film

Story of a trapper who after escaping Indian attack then gets mauled by a bear. His remaining colleagues have to decide whether to stay with him or leave him on his own, as they still need to save themselves too.

Some fantastic scenery, mountains. rivers, etc.

Plot had 1 big flaw in it which didn't make sense if you spot it.

P.S if you don't already know Google Reverent's meaning
