As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
.......you arrogant prick Wonga. They didn't have to turn up for the second game, as other teams haven't had to in recent years because Arsenal bottled it completely in the first game. NO LEADERSHIP. One of the many problems with your inept and laughable attempts at management.
Oh and......'judge us at the end of the season'............well done Wonga, you specialist in failure!
\Spot on, he is an arrogant prick who thinks he is above everybody else, Monaco deserved to win it because........they beat us you fooking numpty Wonga and had a better GD, we lost this in the first game because these arrogant N00b's thought they just had to turn up to win it. Maureen is right Wonga is a specialist in failure

the funny thing about this is that you can almost turn it back on Wenker,if he means they don't have a team like ours and therefore don't deserve to go through then whos fault is it we lost?? YES YOU ,YOU DELUDED LADY PART

If City go out it gives Wenger another hiding place as in no English club progressed to quarter final stages so it will become , for him and his disciples, an English problem rather than an Arsenal one. They and he will conveniently overlook the previous four seasons.
this - you just know the AKB's are going to say 'well city and the chavs are out too..." totally ignoring the fact that PSG and Barca are waaaaaay better than Monaco.
Hang on a moment regarding the 'not worthy winners' comment aimed at Monaco....has Wenger completely forgotten that we almost edged Barcelona out back in 2011 without having a single shot on target? (Our goal was an own goal by Busquets I think). He'd have been describing that as a tactical masterclass if we had held on 1-1. Monaco are though because they took their chances in the first leg and we were so abject.
I am proud of how the lads did last night and even feel a little sympathy as I honestly thought we were going to get the third at one point, but ultimately we only have ourselves to blame because of how atrocious we were in the first leg. Until we can correct that mentality we will not progress.
Henry on sky sports saying that going out at this stage is not good enough for Man City and there needs to be change. Pity he's not as outspoken when it comes to Arsenal
was watching in America and they showed a graphic on the screen, I've searched for it and sorry mates, I can't find it. But basically they showed total number of games Wonga has coached in Champions League in comparison to Jose Mourinho, Sir Alex nd one other coach, (Anchelloti sp?) all three who've won the CL on two (2) occasions.
Of course Wenger had a goose egg and Mourinho and SAF and the other coach each TWO CL trophies.
and again, the number of games was over 200, but statistically similar.
what makes if even worse was his earlier comment about the total number of champions league games Arsenal have participated in during his tenure.
being from America I can tell you Arsene: it isn't about quantity but QUALITY.

Henry was always going to placate the Arsenal fans which is why I didn't want him on Sky Sports.
Don't worry guys, we didn't go out against Monaco because we played like total shit in the first leg. We went out because the away goals rule is unfair and worked against us
Apparently, that endless source of half cooked football punditry, Robbie Savage, has decided Pellegrini should go in the summer. 12 months after winning the EPL.
If he is sacked I have a suggestion for Pellegrini, apply to Arsenal to take over from 'the specialist in glorious failure', a comfy little gig.
Forget titles and serious Champions League assaults, he only has to finish top 4 every season, win the odd domestic cup every 9 years, and its a job for life.

Don't worry, nothing is ever Arsene's fault.
Dear Jesus, the stupid old bastard just doesn't know when to fuck up. Looks like his ego has taken a huge knock with this defeat, I haven't heard any manager take a deserved defeat this bad in all my years watching football.
Get over it you sill old and then fucking well do one you fucking embarrassment.
OGL's obsession with not winning anything in Europe means we'll never get rid of him, as he plans to stick around to try to win something. Now he thinks the Europa League might be a good idea. It's unfair that he doesn't get to compete in it after he's failed in the CL. http://www.theguardian.com/football/201 ... opa-league

this is what I just dont understand.
he has had a couple of years of CL failure and suddenly everyone is saying he should go.
Wenger however has had NINETEEN years of CL failure yet he is still considered beyond criticism.

Sweet fuck! he has really lost it this time, he needs to be fucking sectioned for his own good and the reputation of the club.

It's funny cos I heard mark lawrenson and brian kerr (w.nker ) saying after our defeat on Tuesday night, that simeone would never be appointed as manager because we do things differently at AFC and wouldn't accept his behaviour at our club - our manager continues to behave like a total and utter bitter c.unt who throws the dummy from the pram whenever he loses, and yet we talk about the class expected from our employee's ? Simeone would be ideal imo
