The non spending Wenger in PSG? That would be something :D
What bothers me more in this article is this
"Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis suggested Wenger will be offered a contract extension to stay at the Emirates"
:suicide:

ps: There's 5 bullets left...help yourself.

Had to make sure.

What have I been saying for bloody months now !! How can this be even remotely surprising to anyone? He will be here for fucking years yet. He wouldn't be interested in the pressure of being expected to deliver the Champions League and signing established international players at PSG, just like he wasn't interested by Real Madrid. The media would kill him in international management too.

He has the perfect job - 7m a year, no pressure whatsoever to win anything other than the virtual trophy, free to pick his own bosses, a job for life. Why would he give that up at his age? And more to the point why would Kroenke get rid of a man who is increasing his capital wealth with every season that passes

Get used to it people - he ain't going anywhere. Rodders will be pleased though.....I'll light the BBQ

Wenger will probably bid 3.4 mil for him, knowing that his release clause is 3.5 mil!!

No. Miles short of the kind of player The Arsenal should be aiming for.

If Wenger really does think Diame is the sort of player that will 'improve our squad' then he really has lost it on a scale I didn't think possible.

When Wilshere and Diaby were out he would forever bang on about how many midfielders we had on the books. Its the one fucking position where we are overloaded, apart from if he went and signed a genuine defensive midfielder and Diame is not that man

Honestly we need another central midfield like I need a dose of piles. Sign a fucking striker that will give us half a chance of turning losses into draws and draws into wins. If it takes £30m so be it - that's the going rate for a striker worthy of regular CL football.

When asked if he was going to sign anyone in his post-match press conference Wenker said:

"We are not close to signing anybody".
