Kieran Tierney to Real Sociedad, here we go! Verbal agreement in place with Arsenal on loan deal — no buy option clause #AFC
Tierney has accepted, medical being scheduled after clubs exchange all documents.
Salary will be covered until June.
Why wouldn't he accept? He's been treated disgracefully.
You'd think he had been behaving like Aubameyang the way he has been treated.
There will now be no proper LB in the first team squad
Brentford have put an £80m price tag on England striker Ivan Toney, 27, with Arsenal and Tottenham interested in signing the player in January once he has served his eight-month ban for breaching gambling rules.
Arsenal are close to reaching an agreement with Real Sociedad over a season-long loan for 26-year-old defender Kieran Tierney.
The Gunners have agreed a fee of 45m euros (£38m) plus add-ons with Monaco for the sale of 22-year-old United States striker Folarin Balogun.

Just had a text from an old friend now working in London Sports Media: Arsenal strongly looking at Peer Shuurs, also Arsenal have made inquiries about signing Toney (when his suspension is up), Toney has changed his agent who is understood to also represent some members of the Arsenal squad. ?

I'm not suggesting that Gabriel is irreplaceable or world class or anything, but I am saying that I would tread very carefully about replacing him unless the new centre back was proven top quality - Gabriel clearly has a good partnership with Saliba (you can see the way they celebrated together when Gabriel made block in last few mins of palace game), and there are dynamics in a dressing room that need to be accounted for when making a decision like this. I cant shake this feeling that arteta is meddling too much with this team and the whole thing is going to blow up in his face - you can replace any player with a proven top quality player and the dressing room will automatically welcome the new player in, but replacing or squeezing out popular players like ramsdale, Tierney and gabriel is very risky imo when the replacement is unproven
