Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It's just like watching us looking at City minus Haaland. Pass pass pass, wide player crosses to nobody, opposition breaks and out muscles the midfield

City truly awful

Much as it pains me to say it, Liverpool are vastly superior to us and playing the type of football that we started to under Arteta a couple of years back. Compare this high press, quick passing game compared to our awful, turgid 1930s paced shite

I hate the fuckers but they are definitely 11 points better than us and more
And don't know how it came to this with just a change of manager and 1 squad level player signing.
New manager bounce brought a new burst of energy to a decentish squad and a run of very comfortable fixtures for the first half of the season allowed them to build momentum.

Eerily similar isn’t it?! Dull, lifeless, insipid performance and the game could go on for another 9 hours and they still wouldn’t score.

De Bruyne is probably the only player in the league who’s tanked worse than Odegaard this season. He’s completely washed up and with no Barbie they’ve no striker and look every bit as cluelessly limp dicked as we do.

Throw in the half empty stadium and a manager looking on without a clue how to change it, and it's almost identical

I'd say Foden trumps him. Last seasons player of the year and he stunk out the Euros and has been utter ***** every time I've seen him this season. Awful again today

Looks like we need to draw our way to CL places, think we should play 5-4-1

True that. The c.unt was pinging them in to the top corner from everywhere last season to win them games, now he can barely string a pass together. As I said there will be a case study done on this collapse, won 4 leagues on the bounce and then instantly turned into pubbers.

The Victims* have umpteen strikers whereas Arsenal haven't had a decent one since PEA went into serious decline. In 2022/23, we only had Eddie the feather and Jesus. Amazing Arsenal went close. Only Haven'tz added since. That's why the Victims* will win the league :-(

Everything Liverpool do is at pace, the total opposite to Arsenal, it's fucking depressing to watch
True... But in part that's because they're used to Running Everywhere so as not to get robbed in scouseland
The 3 month procession to the title is going to be unbearable.....this must be what it's like in France and Scotland
Tell me about it, my nephews 2 sons are liVARpool fans (he has dis-owned them) and they texted & e-mailed yesterday as soon as the final whistle went after our game against the Shammers ..

Not just the Gobshite Job ShyCunts giving it large all over media but the usual suspects in the media with the scouseFilth 'Love In'...

Fuckin' Hate the RobbingCUNTS :banghead: :cussing:

Are we sure you’re allowed to have that many strikers in a squad

While true im a glass half empty type, i would have said the “title race” was up well before this, competitively it’s been a lame duck since October/november, the mere notion of a race is kept up by sky and the like to peddle the “best league in the world”

The reality is that the mousers are decent, not great but certainly not bad…….if they’re top you can only cringe at what’s underneath. Like we do….every weekend
