How has Guimares avoided a yellow for all his dissent.

Don't want him anywhere near our team if reports are correct, he's Dennis Wise with a Brazilian passport
Agree 1000%

But if course there are some on here who think he's the dogs whatsits...

Having no European football has stood to the choppers here. The victims are flat as fuck after 120 minutes midweek
They are going to celebrate this like the World Cup. It’s a joke trophy.
More of a proper trophy than the “top 4 trophy “ that we will be left with though

How fucking annoying that the club threw in the towel in the transfer windows and that our bottlejobs lost their nerve again

I've maintained throughout this season these scouse c.unts can be got at and in the space of a week they're out of 2 cups and since Feb they've thrown away 3.

If we'd have even kept the distance to 6 or 7 points with a game still to play up there we could have done it. Now the fuckers can coast to the title and still lose 2 or 3 games

More like a glorified Grimandi

He’s a dirty player and if he plays for us the way he does for Newcastle, he is going to pick up a lot of the pgmol ‘I had no choice’ red cards.

Let the bitterness eat you up sunshine. I agree that we should have won the Caraboa Cup like Uncle Erik Ten Haag and been floating around the Conference League places. Let me do that deal.

They got away with murder again. The time wasting was off the scale too. They make our dark arts look like daisy picking followed by afternoon tea. If we did what they do we would have a red each game.

Makes it hard to believe Liverpool have only lost one game in the league this year

The emergence of the skid mark 3 phenomenon in the last couple of seasons has completely destroyed the jeopardy of relegation in this league. It’s been a fait accompli from about 10 games in yet again this season.

It's time to drop the league to 16 or 18 teams - for the next couple of seasons have 3 down and 1 up. After that limit to 1 automatic promotion and 1 via playoffs, with 2 down the other way

Too much football and too many absolutely shit matches

Give more rest time and get rid of some of the shit

Look who might be coming back up - oh yay Leeds, Sheffield Utd and Burnley again. That'll be great for the division won't it

Completely agree. Will never happen though.

Personally I would change it to be a bit like Germany. Two automatics up. Third place in Championship plays off vs third bottom in Prem over two legs.

Dippers getting done twice in a week in cups that they thought they were going to coast to. It would be slightly funnier if it wasn't the noxious, gobby head chopping peasants that beat them today. As other have said, it we could have kept the dippers to a six/seven point lead by now, I'd still fancy us to drag them back as they're always prone to a collapse and terrible run. Sadly they'll win the league this year. Next year , they'll be way off the pace.
And just as an aside, that win today makes the headchopping peasants as equally successful over the last 50 years as Swansea, Middlesbrough, Luton, Norwich, Birmingham and Oxford. What elite company for the 'richest club' in the world.

Would laugh if Isak decides he is off if they miss out on Champions League. They do have some decent players in some positions but they get away with some outrageous stuff. Joelinton hauling a bloke down off the ball and VAR bottling it just one example.

Didn't their manager claim to always win a trophy in his second season?

The've been coasting all season with no extreme events to throw them off their stride. No dubious red cards, generous amount of penalties, favourable fixture list to start with, rivals missing key players every time they face them etc etc. This is the first period in the season they've been stretched physically and they fold as expected. Earlier in the season we had to play away to Atalanta on a Thursday and then went to City on Sunday and played half the game with 10men. Throw them the same challenge and they won't be running away with the title.
I find it strange that Carragher thinks we've peaked when it's actually the dippers who could be dropping off the cliff next season if Van Dijk, Sara and long name right back up sticks.
