I don't fucking understand it at all. Is it really so shameful & embarassing to try to sign players that people have actually heard of?! Why do we always have to have this attitude of trying to "unearth gems"?

Because Turnip needs to feed his ego - at the expense of the team.

Arsene doesn't buy superstars, he makes them.
Actually available last year for sale on T-shirts from official Arsenal outlets. As cringeworthy as some of those fucking banners up at the Bowl
As I've suggested before there should be a simple amendment as follows:
Arsene doesn't sign millionaires, he makes them

Thought I would take a glance at this thread, expecting another groundhog day, but no, I was wrong. It would appear that we are now trying to sign new players by scouring Craigslist.

You'd be able to find better players on Craigslist than Gervinho!

Mirror says we are making a late bid for yanga-mbiwa, what is the point, it's just embrassing.
The barcodes have an almost done deal.
His medical with them is today.
If we really wanted him,why wait till now.
Losing out at the last minute to the barcodes just makes us look like an absolute joke.......though I think most people see us as that anyway.
