Manchester United have agreed a staggering £15 million deal to sign wonder kid Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace.

Boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been backed by his money men in his bid to land the England starlet and Palace have accepted a fee that guarantees them £10 million.

The extra £5 million will come in appearances and achievements and the whole total is more than the Eagles could refuse for their young attacker.

To be fair, if I had won pretty much everything in the game and played for Madrid and Inter, I wouldn't want to slum it at Stoke and the Europa League (assuming he had gone to Pool).

Won't be disappointed one bit if we don't sign Zaha. Not at all what we need right now and while the state of our squad makes me want to do evil things I'm reticent for Wenger to make any major signings because he will inevitably spunk it away on, I don't know, a tricksy kid with limited experience in second-tier football.

Reality is we could have signed Zaha if we'd have wanted to. He was always just going to go to the first suitor.

If Fergie is willing to spend 15m then I think he's on to something. Thing is if he came to arsenal I can't see him progressing.

Zaha has Valencia, Giggs, Nani and most importantly Ferguson to learn from. Ferguson can turn him into a beast. I assume this is the Nani replacement.
