I would certainly consider selling him to Madrid if varane was included in the deal ? Kos is indeed a vital cog in our defence but he is far from irreplaceable and I think that the glare from the Madrid spotlights would be too much for him if he did go

Well verane won't be included in the deal you can be sure of that.

We can't try and replace Mertesacker and Kosceilny in one swoop. New GK too possibly. It's too much for the defensive unit.

I don't know if Martinez is good enough but I do know that last week simeone came out and said that manzucic (sp ) was not for sale, and now within 4 days he has sold him and bought a replacement for him - that's decisive transfer dealings

But Mandzukic wasn't "available" remember Augie!

Didnt we do that when we let our best striker go to Utd and when we didnt resign Cesc.The message has been out there for years about the lack of ambition at the club
