ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsenal earn staggering £66m in Champions League bonus payments

That money will be very helpful come January.
£66m down the drain. Kai Havertz paid for again.

I've made a decision today. We don't want Mbappe. I'm sorry but even though his goal tally is well above average he spends too much time in nightclubs and might be a disruptive member of the team. So, fuck him the snail-eating little cock-sucker!!

Not sure 1. if we can afford Toney and 2. if he's the answer. Wouldn't mind getting him on loan with an option to buy (even for silly money) in the summer. Doubtful that'd happen though.

Can’t have 2 players on loan from the same club at the same time

So that would require making the Raya deal permanent in January or buying him in January with favourable payment terms ( maximum 5 seasons now the clubs have closed Chelsea’s amortisation loophole )

I never knew that. So we better fuck Raya off back there and then take Toney. :D

I'd take him over Eddie and Havertz.

Part of me thinks Toney would be a great signing....... But the fact that he's bet on Brentford to lose on 13 occasions is seriously fucking dodgy and makes me wonder what he might do in the future....ie: miss a sitter or a pen to win a 100 grand bet??? :rubchin:

   Fuccccck I did not know that... That is Beyond "Dodgy" - I thought he'd only bet on games he wasn't involved in.... In that case he should be Banned for Life.

And you were right - he bet on brentford games when he was on loan elsewhere or when he was out injured. He didnt (according to official investigation) bet on any games that he was involved in so whilst teecee's post is factually correct, it is also factually incomplete

I know that he wouldnt fill a position of need in the current team, but I really like Olise from palace as a player - I would go so far as to say that IF down the line a foreign club came in with a huge bid for saka (£150m+), then olise would be my choice to replace him

If it was a couple of years down the line, we have our own Lewis- Skelly coming through in that position

🚨 || Arsenal have reportedly made an early approach for RB Salzburg's 21yo defender, Amar Dedić. Dedić is primarily a RB but can play across the entire back line. He is also being monitored by Chelsea, Newcastle, Roma, Barça and Inter [Via - Various].
