I believe safcftm is applying for a German visa as we type. And buying a truckload of Kleenex.

The top shelf was empty, we had to look further down - Wolfsburg boss Dieter Hecking - well played

Re: Bendtner; The Leg-end
I think that I speak for us all when I wish Nicklas Bendtner all the best at his new club. They have truly signed a magnificent man and I will be following their results with great interest this season. I know he will be a success, as always.

Re: Bendtner; The Leg-end
A minority view I know, but I'm a bit ambivalent about Bendtner and wish him luck at his new club.
A shame he couldn't find any consistency for us (and ended up becoming bit of a clown at times)...and as for that "legendary" first touch......
While I'm glad he's off our wage bill I do have a few fond memories of him coming off the subs bench to score a few cracking goals when we needed them most.

I'll always remember the time he hit the post with a diving header. Outside that nightclub.officepest wrote:This one being my favourite:Simon wrote:A minority view I know, but I'm a bit ambivalent about Bendtner and wish him luck at his new club.

Had a skinful as a youth and was staring drunkenly at my chips, didn't see the lamppost and - BANG - split my head open. Claret everywhere, strangers laughing, work not impressed.DB10GOONER wrote:I'll always remember the time he hit the post with a diving header.
