Bendtner; The Leg-end

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I love the comment under the third image in the article.

Given how many others are in that photo I think it sums him up perfectly

The top shelf was empty, we had to look further down - Wolfsburg boss Dieter Hecking - well played

I think that I speak for us all when I wish Nicklas Bendtner all the best at his new club. They have truly signed a magnificent man and I will be following their results with great interest this season. I know he will be a success, as always.

A minority view I know, but I'm a bit ambivalent about Bendtner and wish him luck at his new club.

A shame he couldn't find any consistency for us (and ended up becoming bit of a clown at times)...and as for that "legendary" first touch......

While I'm glad he's off our wage bill I do have a few fond memories of him coming off the subs bench to score a few cracking goals when we needed them most.

I'll always remember the time he hit the post with a diving header. Outside that nightclub. :D

Had a skinful as a youth and was staring drunkenly at my chips, didn't see the lamppost and - BANG - split my head open. Claret everywhere, strangers laughing, work not impressed.
