As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Having watched him more than a few times over the past couple of seasons, I think Lloriente is well over-rated by some on this board - although he's probably still better than Chamack and 'super quality' Park. Haven't seen as much of Giroud but the little I have hasn't been that impressive.

Cheers matey - but can you now please explain geometry to me?
lol. no.
and I daresay that TH14 didn't look impressive in italy.
for all his many faults, AW has coached some youngsters with potential, to greatness - TH, PV, DB10, cashley, RvP etc. maybe he see's something in him, and can unleash it.
amongst all the horse poop, there has been a diamond or two there.
Sorry IHH no I think we should sign whoever we feel would improve our team and pay whatever the going price is.
But at the same time just because team x y and z don't fancy them doesn't automatically mean they are shit just as paying a fortune for a highly rated player doesn't mean they are going to fit in and make you title winners/contenders although admittedly there is a higher success rate.
Giroud deal to be announced 'within the next 48 hours'
Serious question - Is Giroud better than Bendtner?
Going by what Babs says I'm unsure.
Again, I've never seen Giroud play but I'm currently underwhelmed by this purchase.
Babs!!??/ we are talking Arry's love/hate child here...that's why he's so full of hatred and bile. Well wouldn't you be if ole Cheese On Toast Face was yer old man and you had a sibling like that prick jamie *word censored* o

If you throw enough predictions out there soon enough you'll get one or two right and many of baba's predictions were made after the event such as Gervinho Bab wasn't a member of the board when we signed him so not sure how he predicted he'd be shit We could all see he was struggling from the start so that makes us all mystic meg?

I mean some people moan all th etime about Wenger buying prospects and 5 year olds from Chad, but when we are potentially about to sign a talented and versatile player WHO WANTS to play for Arsenal can we not be a little more happy in our attitude.
I welcome the young lad and hope he has a long and successful career scoring goals for Arsenal.
What is also "Good" about this - I mean besides the fact that we are actually (fingers and toes crossed) signing another decent player...is that bendy bollocks and vela are offski! REEEESULLLTTT!
Absolutely loving this - Theo's raring to sit that pine! Am I the only one who finds it hysterical that the Ox is in ahead of Theo?
I also wonder if he is off this summer as well...
I would love it if Walcott was to go, in fact I would knock one out on the strength, I really can't stand to see him or his silly gay like clap he does to the crowd when he eventually gets hooked..
