If you listened very carefully they were probably all laughing their f'ing heads off after they said it

Because we need another small attacking midfielder and would cost £30 million easily. Can't see this happening nor the Arshavin and £5 million for a Ligue 2 attacking midfielder. Arshavin recently (allegedly) turned down a Reading loan, but now he is willing to go to Ligue 2 - ok...

Arshavin earns 80k per week. Bastia probably pay a maximum of 10-15k for their top earners. He wont be going there

The only players that have been mentioned on this thread that I give two fucks about are Cavani or Villa because he can sign all the fucking flaky attacking midfielders and second rate defenders from Zambia that he likes.

Unless we sign a bloke capable of replacing even half of what RvP brought to us we are completely fucked. Go sign matey from Celtic, Zaha, the defender from Montpellier and Gourcuff. None of them will make any difference whatsoever when the Klingon returns to the squad to take his place alongside the 50 pence head

Were we ever linked with him though mate? He's a cracking player, but until the Self Harmer puts someone up front capable of scoring 20 PL games in a season then we could have the best midfielders in the world and still not compete
