As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
(a) watching them pump it Wimbledon style to Fellaini in the last 15 minutes
(b) seeing that tub of lard Shaw unable to pass the ball to another United player over more than 5 yards
(c) seeing the joker between the sticks who is taking over from De Gea
(d) all of the above

(e) watching Wayne Rooney huff and puff his way through yet another game whilst contriving to miss a host of gilt-edged chances.

That Depay chap up front got tackled every time he had t and and just chicken himself to the floor.
For all the money they've spent they've got a side which is nowhere near capable of winning the league. Impressive.
I can't believe Van Gaal escapes with so little criticism of both his signings and style of play. I've said on here times many, that there isn't a single player they've signed since he's been there who I would have wanted us to sign for the same value. He's criminally wasted money in just about every position on the field, and they still look like a side without any balance to it and one which will limp towards the top four. The much lauded Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin spine of the midfield will prove to be a complete waste of money and thank fuck we didn't sign either of them.
They actually need a striker even more than we do. He clearly wants Chicarito gone so its Rooney and that useless lump Fellaini.
United's reaction to their striking woes is to go and get Martial from Monaco - don't know much about him other than he looked handy against us
Meanwhile on Planet Wenger, he is awaiting Karim Benzema to fly himself to London, with a note from the Real Madrid president saying that he is officially for sale at the right price
Spending £36m on a French kid with 8 goals to his name last season. Best thing is we might have chucked that sort of stupid money at him if he hadn't
He really is doing an absolutely woeful job, without any saving grace. He's handled the de Gea situation woefully, failed to get anything out of a class player in di Maria and took a huge whack in less than twelve months, and they are still playing the likes of Chris Smalling and chucking Januzaj in the squad because they are so short on quality. The only player who has shown anything under him is Fellaini and that is as a result of van Gaal playing him up front and getting United to lump the ball forward to the detriment of the rest of the team and any sort of entertainment value.
They have spunked £200m into this black hole with nothing to show for it. It's a squad packed full of mediocrity and they will have to replace at least half the side again if they actually want to be title challengers. They'll scrape 4th again because the likes of Liverpool and Spurs are struggling to tread water at the moment (never mind push on) but along with the inevitable caning they'll be handed in the knockout stages of the CL he'll struggle to sell that as a success.
The funny thing is Moyes was (rightly) absolutely pilloried for his tenure and yet van Beavis is given a free ride, despite flogging all of their youth prospects and burning money as if it were Weimar Republic marks.
He’s spent a fucking fortune and he clearly has no clue on how to set his team up, despite all his bluster on his “philosophy”.
The best part is the continued sight of the now un-droppable captain Rooney blowing out of his arse up front; a sight that will never get old.

The thing is that with Van Gaal and Wenger are paying for dithering in the market. Martial only signed a new contract which means that Utd paid a premium on what they would have had they acted earlier. Not only that, but the farce that keeping De Gea who has 12 months left (less now) on his contract and the circus that will attract. They may win out there eventually, but if they don't sell, they are chucking £20 million or so (at least) down the toilet. Looking at what they did last year with di Maria, Van Gaal should be taking a lot more flack than he is. I know that they are a very rich team, but I can't imagine that the Executive Board are looking at this and wondering 'What the F***?'
And to think that there were people here that wanted him (including myself) - bullet dodged. I think that I'd rather have Wenger with all of his dithering and non-tactics than some past it autocrat (not saying that Wenger isn't just that )
