Love Wengers transfer dealings....always have the same pattern...at first advertise what you are doing then dither and delay until the target signs for someone else...never fails

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has refused to rule out a move for France and Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, 25.

Great news he's back and the U18s will learn what expected of an Arsenal player.
Hope this is true...TA being prepped to take over from Wenger in 2017???
I really hope not. TA6 was a great player and captain but has proven to be a shit manager. Same as Liam Brady was. :|

I don't know which is worse, the fact that yet again we are failing to add the necessary quality to our squad, or the fact that the rumours of wally leaving appear to have totally disappeared - not alone are we going to be stuck with wenker for many more years, but it looks like we are also going to be stuck with this woeful excuse of a footballer :suicide: :suicide:

I find it impossible to believe no PL club out there is willing to pay a quality footballer like Theo £140,000 a week. We are talking about a player that has delivered week in week out for 10 years now. A club legend. Up there with the mighty Adams, Wright, Bergkamp, Vieira, Armstrong, Rice, McLintock, Rocky and George. It is a thing of beauty to watch Theo take the ball to feet, push it past that defender, turn on the afterburners and go flat out down the line. We are talking about a man so fast, so amazing, that he can often do that and through some quirk of space/time he will do it and leave the ball behind - because even a projectile object like a football cannot keep pace with Theo.

You ungrateful bastards need to get your arses into your churches and thank your Gods for Theo. :censored:

Yes, insomnia induced fucktardness has me today. :ihh:  :the_doris_2: :suicide:

Of course he will.....the Japanese fella, who will make a couple of token appearances, probably in the league cup, then prove to be a complete waste of time, effort and money.

Arsene knows.

Regarding the Lacazette rumours, does anyone feel he is really the step up we need in the striker position? That he didn't make the French squad for the Euros is a little concerning. His record seems decent but would he be worth it with the outlay, circa 30 odd million. Genuine question, I don't know too much about him!

I suppose it's the same old questions really; could he deliver 20+ PL goals a season? Could he adapt quickly to the pace and physicality of the PL? I have my doubts.... :|

I think we (at least in the short to mid term) need to aggressively go after a striker that has proven he can deliver 20+ PL goals. I'm all for signing "potential" but not if that's all we sign. We need someone that can hit the ground running. Giroud, Welbeck and Walcott have all had a fair chance to show what they can do and none of them are anything more than bog standard PL average. We need PL elite strikers.

No, of course not, but Wanker will get to play the big man in France again and talk all about how he's seen potential and that he knows better than everybody else. He's also mid-20s so will be easily manipulated into believing all the shit that Wanker spouts. He's a typical Wanker signing, average, not world-class, wanted by no big teams and moderatlely priced.

I see Ibrahimovic has signed for United.
I guess that means we will have to endure Wenger telling everyone how he nearly signed him, twice next season.
