I have a question. Should I buy or sell pork bellies? Just saw a movie about two old guys and a black guy and a bird with a man's face but the best tits I've ever seen, and in that movie pork bellies seemed to be something important in the financial world.

Blame Apple for that, was typing out my response on an iPad. I didn't know I had to spell check everything I type even if it gets auto corrected!

But seriously, sort the Modding out on this forum. You both act like a bunch of schoolkids, then get all defensive when someone questions what you say. I am all for banter, but it isn't a switch you can turn on and off to suit yourself.

If you have a complaint about the modding, make it to the owner Mike or GoonerEd because tbh I don't give much of a fuck if you like us or not. If you want a forum with non-member mods then I suggest you try out a few forums that use that format and see how long you, in particular, last, seeing as you cannot discuss anything with anyone without insulting them. Go on, give it a try.

Interesting report and it makes some fair points however there is a flaw that i can see, it doesn't give an exact timescale for any of the investment proposed nor does it actually say or confirm the investment was 100% guaranteed but that it was planned, which as we know in terms of business investment can take any number of years and/or be cancelled or redirected at the drop of a hat.

You're also ignoring what was said in the last two paragraphs, which points to possible reinvestment or recommencement should the government manage to guarantee what is required. So lets not get hysterical over a report of possibles and maybes with no concrete guarantees.

The Hitachi people commissioned a survey. We don't know how many people were contacted. Or what specific questions were asked. Or how those questions were phrased. We do know that about a thousand "senior executives " bothered to respond. We do not know how many of those people had a political axe to grind.
From this survey we are led to believe that one third of businesses decided to cancel or postpone investment in this country. Total bollocks.
