Rumours doing the rounds that the chavs are closing in on signing Benzema - I know DB10 is against signing him on basis of age and wage packet, but for me if it is a straight choice between signing this guy on a short term deal or playing rest of the season with the strikers we already have, then it is a no brainer to sign him
36 years old, and on phenomenal wages. No thank you! I would rather save our money for someone in the summer, than waste it on him for six months.

I’m happy for the chavs to continue spending big money on over the hill centre forwards, like they did with Schevchenko, Crespo, and a few others over the years

He is better than jesus and nketieh and havertz combined, and in a poor premier league his goals could make a huge difference this season. Would I prefer we went out and bought ivan toney or osimhen absolutely, but reality is that we wont sign a top quality striker this month, so getting him inj for 6 months until we sign a top striker is a no brainer

The Tierney ultras will be gunning for you now, they're second only to the Emi fan boyz in the absolutely mental stakes 8)

Don't get me wrong I like Tierney and would love to see him playing for us ,but he's been injured on a constant basis since he joined us ,you can't depend on him.

Worth remembering that Benzema won the ballon d'or just 2 years ago. Even at 36, with the snails pace we play at, he could keep up.... In fact he'd be quicker than Kiwior and Zinchenko anyway!!
If he'd accept 200k a week, I'd have him, he's score 10-12 goals for us in half a season, no problem. :barscarf:

He’s supposedly on 170 mill a year out there, that’s around £3m per week. Somehow I don’t see him leaving.

He has already said to his club that he wants to leave, and Lyon are his preferred choice so if true we can take it that money wont be his primary objective. A lot of players are now unhappy out there and in the summer I expect we'll see a load of departures from saudi league

Apparently having all pocketed Millions for their first 6 months in Saudi, they have all strangely developed an allergy to Sand.

I have zero problem with older players like benzema and henderson going out there for one last massive pay day, and all this bo!!ox about henderson being a c.unt cos he is selling out his principles is a load of bu!!shit too cos I dont know too many people who would have turned it down and anyone saying that they would is a hypocritical lying c.unt imo. However what they seem to be finding out is that it is very hard on their families to adapt to the local "customs" and expectations - generally speaking wags who are used to getting what they want, are never going to adapt to a culture where women are second class subjects and need to know their place (I'm beginning to like sound of that place  )
Personally speaking I would have bigger issue with players like neves going to play out here - they are in their peak years and should be shining on the biggest stages instead of chasing the money now

That bit in red is utter horseshit augster. Utter utter horseshit. We are not talking about 1970s players doing a dodgy out to the USA for a final payday so they can buy a pub to survive their retirement ffs. We are talking blokes that already have millions and millions in the bank. How much fucking money does one need? Selling your integrity just to add millions you don't need to the millions you already have in the bank? Fuck that.

If a player has put themselves forward as a good guy, a symbol for inclusion and certain rights and then goes to a country that aggressively denies those rights then he is a hypocritical cùnt. I don't give a fuck who they are, or what anyone says, they are a fucking hypocritical cùnt and should be publicly cunted. They made their money selling a certain image in the public eye, they should be called out in the public eye too.

Maybe alot of people nowadays are hypocritical mercenary cùnts and maybe some people find that acceptable. But I don't. And in the cûnt Henderson's position I would have told the Saudis to fuck off as I find them a disgusting medieval regime that goes against certain human rights I believe in.
