THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm all for equality ,but why can't woman invent their OWN sports ?
There's no prejudice against woman's football, there's just very little interest apart from those involved !

Chelsea could have kept Demba Ba & given Frank Lampard 1 more season, and not bothered to bring in Costa & Fabregas saving probably £40m, and finished 2nd behind City.
But they are not a financial investment company, they are a football club, putting winning the title above building a mountain of cash.
Are the 749865 players they had out on loan part of being a football club? No, they are are full blown shop window.
Yeah, heaven forbid sending out 17 players on loan. Never catch us doing that eh ?

My point was about Chelsea mate. We had a lot out on loan but to suggest Chelsea aren't out for money is fucking laughable.

Find me a Premier League club that aren't out for money.....with the probable exception of the one-off likes of Burnley who soon fell back to where they came from.

premierleague.com running a manager of season poll with koeman, monk, mourinho, pearson and wenger.

Guess who's winning with 66% of the vote?

Our internet fans are an embarrassment.

If you add the AW Facebook manager of the Year award, to the Wilshere "Goal of the Season" award, and the FA Cup, then I make that a Treble for the season. Chuck in the Virtual Win streak end-of-season trophy, and that's a Quadruple!!!

BBC were laughing about how Arsenal supporters hijack online voting and yes it truly is embarrassing.
