As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I'll see your trolley dash photo and raise you a TROLLEY DASH VIDEO!!!
I looked for that online but could locate it, I should have thought to trawl the archives on here, Good find DB.
" a photoshopped mock up on here years ago, maybe around 2012 or so, of that scene in Iraq when they pulled down that statue of Saddam and were hitting it with shoes etc. Well, in the mock up it was Wenger who had been toppled and all hell was breaking loose. It was one of the funniest things I've seen on here"
Retro: I vaguely recall it but can't find it, it may well be in one of the Old threads on here, whaddya say DB!? You da man wiv the Keys To The Archives???
I'll have a look but the archive search function on here is not the best.....
It was fucking brilliant. At the time I showed it to a mate who's a QPR supporter and he thought it was hilarious. Let's be honest, if it could make a QPR fan laugh about something football related, then it must be good.

Shame it's not Diet Pep, I would pay good money to watch the Basque Bluffer taking a good shoeing from an angry crowd with stinking flip flops
Also reminds me of an ex-professional footballer I used to work with. He played in Ligue Un and in the Turkish league for Transponspor. He told me a story of when he joined Transponspor and after losing a home game early in his career, as the new boy he had to leave the stadium first. Little did he know that angry supporters would wait for the team to leave and form a tunnel of hate, take off their shoes and flip flops and beat the players as they left He said the new boy always got the worst of it as the fat bastards would put loads of effort in at the start, then tire quickly so that late leavers would get away relatively unscathed He said he pinched one blokes shoe once and said the thought of the bloke having to walk home in one shoe makes him laugh
Arsenal will rival Chelsea for the signing of Napoli's 25-year-old Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen at the end of the season. He is reported to have a release clause of £111m.

They'll get him and sell us Jackson.
Fuuuuccckkk he's worse than Eddie the feather.
You worry too much. Just imagine a couple of ex chavs up front, Havertz and Jackson.....a dream come true.
I shouldn't joke, Cone Boy might read this and get ideas.

Fuck him, he's rubbish, I'd rather we went for Lautaro Martinez if paying that sort of money.
Arsenal and Liverpool are both interested in signing Portugal winger Pedro Neto from Wolves, who are willing to sell the 23-year-old if their valuation is met because of ongoing financial pressures. Wolves will want about £50-60m for Neto, who has a contract until 2027 with the Molineux club.
A very decent player who would fit in well with our playing style etc, the only cautionary note would be that he has been prone to injuries and we All know Arsenal and the signing of players 'prone to injury'

Neto is a quality player no doubt, but personally I would rather Olise, and I would buy neither unless we are selling a winger or playing martinelli or trossard as a 9 from now on

Michael or Janet ?
Either would be better than the mug at the chavs and as we all know, Michael is in Neverland in the sky.
Frankly, Bubbles would be better than the Chav's Jackson.

I know that you want other positions addressed first augie and I can understand that, but I've always wanted us to sign Neto, as I've said on here since I first saw him at Wolves. I wouldn't be able to him down, even though we need a striker and centre mid.
Newcastle United and Arsenal are on alert after contract talks between Brentford and their 27-year-old England striker Ivan Toney stalled.
Arsenal and Real Madrid have enquired about the 21-year-old England Under-21 centre-back Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite,
Arsenal are losing patience with Germany midfielder Kai Havertz and are considering selling the 24-year-old this summer.
Oh! Pullleeeese! As If Arteta Would Ever Admit To Fucking Up!
Not only would we have to give him away, because there's no chance of making a dent in the £65 million we wasted, but given that he's apparently on 300k per week, there's no way he'll agree to go. He's apparently on a 5 year contract worth £14.5 million per year...that's £73 million over the 5 years!! No one's walking away from that.
I don't know if these contracts allow for a break clause, but I'm sure his agent must have made it pretty water tight, before turning cart wheels down the road and thanking his lucky stars that he found a mug willing to sign this dud. Break clause or not, it will cost a fortune to get rid of this bloke, because no one will be prepared to pay the wages we pay him, even if there's someone else stupid enough to sign him. Arteta has landed us with the type of nightmare his mentor was so good at getting us into.
