As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
aye, diaby had a stormer but he visably lagged before he got subbed.
el captáin was very solid, played well, let down by a rickety and unfamiliar back four. was impressive when it came to the crunch
the only person i can really fault is (drum-roll please) adebayor. couldnt hold up the ball in the second 45, did nothing except wander beyond the back four BEFORE almunia take a goal kick, what a div.
even eboue actually impressed me a bit because of his commitment and how he quietly went about being a right back WHICH IS WHAT HE IS
Ive always been a big fan of Diaby, even when he was getting abit of grief. He's proved tonight that he can be a big big player for us. Fingers crossed he can stay injury free and keep showing us what he can do.
Great result and I hope all the travelling gooners get home safe and well. Almunia and Diaby well done and to Ramsey as well for his first Arsenal goal. As for our defence well........... !
Awesome result but our defence is goimg to lose us everything if we're not careful.
Dont forget though it was far from our first choice back four.Ok Eboue looked really slugish at times tonight and Silvestre and Song got caught playing offside too often but i dont think Sagna, Toure and Gallas would have looked half as shaky.
