I thought some people would enjoy these ratings, from Sky Sports....

Manuel Almunia - 6 - At fault for the goal and dodgy under crosses (g88ner: bit harsh comment, perhaps - but I agree on the rating)
Gael Clichy - 6 - Had an error prone game (g88ner: true!)
Johan Djourou - 8 - Rock solid and brutally physical (g88ner: hmm, although he probably should have conceded a penalty, and maybe guilty of slack marking against Cousin for the goal)
Kolo Toure - 8 - Quiet game but didn't have much to do (g88ner: he did have a quiet game, so surely 8/10 as a little high?)
Bacary Sagna - 7 - Dependable as ever (g88ner: agreed.. solid!)
Abou Diaby - 7 - Some nice touches (g88ner: played well at CM!)

So far, not too bad... although I'd give Toure and Djourou a mark less in both cases.

then it gets interesting....

Denilson - 8 - Creative (g88ner: I thought it was typical Denilson - steady, but certainly not brilliant)
Emmanuel Eboue - 8 - His best game this season  (g88ner: what? I thought he was poor!)
Emmanuel Adebayor - 7 - Ran into too many dead ends but scored the opener (g88ner: very good 1st half, but faded as the game went on - still disappears when the chips are down)
Robin Van Persie - 10 - The best striker in the Premier League bar none (g88ner - got all 3 assists... can't argue with that! take a bow son  )
Samir Nasri - 9 - Really blossoming into a top class player (g88ner: decent 1st half but disappeared in the 2nd, until he popped up with a vital goal! - 7/10 for me)

Nicklas Bendtner (Sub) - 8 - Missed a sitter but provided plenty of attacking threat (g88ner: super sub! 8)

Manuel Almunia - 6 - At fault for the goal and dodgy under crosses

SWL: hmm. I'd give him 7.

Gael Clichy - 6 - Had an error prone game

SWL: fair enough!

Johan Djourou - 8 - Rock solid and brutally physical

SWL: I'd give him 6/10 because he looked a bit dodgy. Never a pen though.

Kolo Toure - 8 - Quiet game but didn't have much to do

SWL: Yeah. Solid.

Bacary Sagna - 7 - Dependable as ever

SWL: I'd say 8, but the comment's right.

Abou Diaby - 7 - Some nice touches

SWL: Yeah, he looked OK.
Denilson - 8 - Creative

SWL: Really? I'd say 7.

Emmanuel Eboue - 8 - His best game this season

SWL: Wouldn't say that. I'd only give him 7, as he gave it away too much. However, he did create some chances and made good runs.

Emmanuel Adebayor - 7 - Ran into too many dead ends but scored the opener

SWL: Good goal, but was otherwise poor.

Robin Van Persie - 10 - The best striker in the Premier League bar none

SWL: SECONDED!! :barscarf:

Samir Nasri - 9 - Really blossoming into a top class player

SWL: That's going a bit too far. Really important goal, took it very well, but would be better used in the middle!

Nicklas Bendtner (Sub) - 8 - Missed a sitter but provided plenty of attacking threat

SWL: Still don't like him, but he adds an extra dimension (poacher) to us so is a useful sub.

giving almunia a 6 is very harsh, and how did he fail to deal with crosses? i thought he was excellent, came out and either caught the ball well or punched it clear, several times aswell. and he seemed to have fixed the communication problems with the defence from last week. certainly deserved higher than a 6.

Agreed, he didn't have a chance with the goal. It was a superb delivery from the wing and an excellent header.
Unfortunately there are people that will have a pop at him without real cause to do so.
I agree that overall he probably isn't up to the standard we need but he ain't half as bad as some would tell you.

RvP man of the match no doubt. Class the whole time. 3 assists. Beautiful. I thought Nasri did pretty well, great finish on the goal. Ade25 didnt have his best game but I thought he worked hard to bring the ball down a lot and made decent passes. Nic is a super sub, keep him in that role. Diaby and Denilson were invisible, but I suppose they did okay defensively. Toure good game. Clichy bad game. Eboue bad game. Okay from Sagna. Djourou bad game.

.....his "header" could easily have resulted in a penalty as he made no attempt whatsoever to go for the ball. I'd have been furious if we'd had one turned down in similar circumstances......

I thought, that decision apart (thank god), that the ref had an excellent game.

Van Persie is fucking vital, and finally showing just how good he is and can be.

I actually think he can become the most complete player in the world
