People got on Eboue's back, because he kept diving and play-acting and the fans don't like to see that. And if he keeps doing it - and he certainly did - then he will provoke a reaction.

Walcott's been here the best part of 5 years. As from last summer Wenger decided to make him a multi millionaire. He repaid that faith with a stupid interview about how great the World Cup will be next June and how that was his priority.

That put a lot of Arsenal fan's backs up - mine included. It showed disrespect, a lack of gratitude to the Club and the Manager and risible hubris on Walcott's part.

Add that to his frankly pityful non contribution thus far this season and you have the recipe for a lot of angry fans who feel he's over rated, over paid and delivering nothing for the Club.

But that should not be equated with some personal vendetta against him. Many people also feel Wenger is letting us down - and again I'm one. But that doesn't mean I, or we, have an agenda against him. We desperately want him to succeed.

sorry..i aimed me vitriol at Theo and though i went OTT im afraid hes had my support.
I dont get pleasure in it btw.
It makes me sad that Theo wont imo make it big with us.
