It seems good form doesnt guarantee you a place at The Arsenal these days
Because Mr Knows spent £10m on a player who had one season in the top league in France. And the stubborn fool has to justify it

Because Wenger can't spot a decent CB if his life depended on it?

He's way above Fulham's level and I expect him to leave them at the end of the season.

Thing is, other than us there are no top clubs in need for a CB. Manure have Ferdinand and Vidic, Chavs have Terry, Ivanovic, Alex and the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid have world class CB's as well. Just hope he doesn't end up at Sp*rs. :worried:
You really think that Chelsea and United don't need more centre backs?

United and Chelsea are fucked without their 2 first choice centre backs.
And we're fucked with our current two first choice centre backs. That's the problem, see?
So Vermaelen isn't first choice :?
Vermaelen is good but he isn't a defensive leader. Alongside Hangeland at the back who's a defensive leader, we could become a force in defense again. Sadly Wenger prefers his light weight French poofters.

10 mill would have got Hangeland without a shadow of doubt

doesn't need nurturing, doesn't need time to adapt to orrible old England, proven quality, plenty years left

but no, we got a french lightweight who is so lacking in positional sense he runs into his own players and is so lacking in pace he can't back out at the last min of said collision

he's shit anyway, the longer he's out for the better.

Djourou is far better, but isn't French and didn't cost 10m pounds.

Chelsea are struggling with their two current first choice centre backs and I can't wait till Rio breaks down again, Jonnie Evans is awful.

It's a blip for Chelsea, we've been crying out for a defence for yrs now.

Besides they have a centre midfielder called Essien to protect their defence and class will out. We have Alex Song Billong.
