To be honest Augie it is what you make it. Personally i dont even know what USMartin wants anymore i dont read his posts or anyones who makes serious replies to him. Its the best way he wont be persuaded to change and he will never persuade anyone else so whats the point of carrying it on?
Well it certainly was not abusiveness as Babu can attest to. Nor was it and the forum's own moderators confirmed this to me breaking a single existing forum rule at that time(or now as despite their insistence that the rules had to be updated with my case in mind the rules are exactly the same as those at the time of banning and I would presume all the way to the forum's opening).
As I understand my banning was not for breaking any rules but not cooperating with the moderators imposing actions against for not breaking any rules. Sort of like if you are falsely arrested then a policeman finds something on your record to arrest you for after they take you in or you do something after they take you in. In court it all gets thrown out because of the false arrest I believe they call it "fruit from the poisoned tree" or something to that effect. I have e-mails from a moderator there than (and I believe still) that confirm this pretty clearly I'd be happy to share.
Another thing that needs clearing up Judith Gleiber's involvem,ent. As again Babu can attest to as he was the person who told me this Mrs Gleiber had said to him that if Steve were still moderating the forum my situation never would have been handled in that same manner and from my own exeprience with Steve I am certain of that as well. Anyway I did corrrespond with Mrs Gleiber at one one point both to express my admiration and affection for Steve and how much he loved Arsenal and Gooners and my own regret at the events underway and was told that that Judith had no involvm,ent in any forum business whatsoever.
The reason she made the statement she did about my banning over a year later is because my banning was stuill a very hotly debated issue - some members left the forum temporarily or permanently in disgust others contnually launched very strong criticisms of the moderators and their honesty and credibility on a regular basis Fiorum members even invited me back on their own after one moderator said the incident was water under the bridge, but when I return after their encouragement I was banned again which set off another furious battle which only dided down after Judith posted that nearly two years after my actual banning and over a year I thnk after she assured me she had no involvement in any forum decisions. Again I have an e-mail that will confirm this as well.
I'll only add this I keep seeing talk of all these petty feuds and that is rubbish. That is to say I ssek no personal battles with anyone. I won't back down from one I admit gladly.
But the closest thing to feud would to me by my anger with Olgit for delibreately using incomplete information without context with the sole purpose of mis-representing these events to mis-represent me as a person which is simply as shameful act of cowardice and no one here should not demand that he apologize for this like an adult. There is quite simply nothing I have done - nor would there be something anyone else - even olgit himself -has done to justify that that sort of behavior against any of us.
I have been asked why it matters. Because the SG Forum is different because of Steve and what happened to him and obviously what would happen to his family as it did. Babu certainly can attest to this. It makes olgit actions the ultimate short of cheap shot and to me he has about as much character and decency on a forum as a Ryan Shawcross Or Nigel DeJong or Joey Barton bring to the football pitch. But if he shows he is man enough to admit he did take things out of context at this point I'll happily accpet his apology and the one feud I genuinely know of will be finished from my end.
