DIRTY LEEDS F.A. CUP 3RD REPLAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Am I the only one who thinks we played really well that first half?

I thought we played well. It looks as if Arshavin is coming back a bit, got the assist afterall. Just a wonderstrike, that's their entire offensive record for 45mins right there. If we lose this, then I'm Ray Winstone.

I should hope not. Fucking fantastic half. Virtually faultless, with the sole minor exception of one or two sloppy balls from Song. Great game. Unlucky to have conceded.

apart from the 1 goal, what else have they had?!

The commentators were making out like they'd just gone one nill up in the 85th minute.

Really need another quick goal from the re-start to kill Leeds momentum.

Think we've been brilliant all over the park. All our hard work has been partly ruined by incompetent officials though. Hopefully we can keep up the intensity because at the moment we're ripping em to pieces. 8)

Pretty decent performance so far although I always feel Leeds look fairly threatening when they do get a rare attack going. Should be further ahead; profligacy from Andrey & Barry Bender plus a few good saves from Schmeichel.

Also, aside from perhaps Clive Tydesley, is there a more despicable, slimey, horrific commentator than Peter Drury? Wish he'd stop wanking off over everything Leeds or their fans do. I'm sure he actually spunked his pants twice during that half; once when a few Leeds fans began waving their scarves & secondly when they scored. What a *word censored*.

They're all *word censored*. Someone should ban ITV from sport, period.

Leeds = The Army Of Christ And All That Is Good And Holy On Earth.

Arsenal = Akin To The Aliens In Independance Day, Managed By Satan.

I only asked - cos there seemed to be a lot of negativity on here reading back over the first half.

Not so at half-time though.

Logging off now for the 2nd half, but I predict 4-1. We're playing well - shouldn't fuck it up.
